There is nothing wrong with the current entrance. The fountains and Columbia Carousel already make a really nice entrance area. I think he means just more of the "front gate area" coming into the park (from the parking lot to the turnstyles), not replacing the fountains and/or carousel inside of the park. That's what I mean. Good luck believing that a Gatekeeper-like front gate area would happen with Prudential nearby. With the coaster probably having sand filled track would prevent Prudential from having a right to complain (You can't really silence a GCI but you can "Silver Bullet" a B&M)

Well, Valleyfair honestly really needs the waterpark expansion because it is the worst waterpark in the Cedar Fair chain. I don't think Soak City is awful like some people say, but it's outdated and needs something new to keep people visiting. I only visit Soak City if it's sweltering hot. As for a new coaster, I think that is more likely to happen than an Excalibur revamp because CF mentioned that VF is one of three parks slated for significant growth, and I think that means a new coaster might happen in the near future. An Excalibur revamp probably wouldn't be worth it because it is one of the least popular attractions in the park, and I personally think that it will be gone within the next ten years, regardless of if that land is used for a new coaster. I think the waterpark is tied with California's Great America and Wildwater Kingdom Ohio for worst CF Waterpark.

Apparently they ran with 6 cars but ended up with 5 (Assuming capacity died down after awhile) http://rcdb.com/66.htm -
