Hansa Park Discussion Thread
XYZ replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^I wouldn't rely too much on concept art. An example of "misleading" concept art is this one of Manta (SWSD): According to this image, Manta (SWSD) has B&M track with 24-seat Intamin trains. In reality, Manta has Mack track with 20-seat Mack trains. ----------------------- Anyways, I'm excited for Hansa's new coaster. There's a possibility that I might come here on my planned trip to Germany in 2015. -
I haven't been on YOLOcoaster yet, but I sure hope the shin pads are comfy or its going to be painful for me. At 6'2 I loved Outlaw Run, but the damn shin pad bar sure took away from the experience and it would rate higher in my book had they found a way to add more padding or perhaps shape it better. Bruised shins are not good and make the rest of the day difficult. Being 6' 3", Full Throttle's shin guards are really uncomfortable and are really hard on the ejector airtime in the back seat (I had some leg pain after the ride). A bit strange that I had no problems on Superman (SFDK).

You mean it'll generate as much noise as Silver Bullet? My B&M Hyper/Giga coaster idea would be to have it go next to Western Ave toward Crescent Drive. Give it a tunnel to help NIMBY's and Sand track to silence the ride It would probably take away some employee parking lot but they could build a parking garage to replace some spots (If they're going to build a 20+ million dollar coaster, They can build a parking garage) I also pick B&M as Intamin has been nothing but trouble for Cedar Fair (Shoot the Rapids, I305) while as B&M has been much more reliable (Behemoth, Leviathan, Gatekeeper, Banshee, Intimidator 232) and I don't see them going back to Intamin. The only way for this to happen is if the whole ride was enclosed. Plus, parking garages aren't cheap, they are really expensive. Honestly, I'd much rather have a really intense Intamin mini-hyper than a B&M giga.

It will be interesting to see what the 2014 coaster will be. There's so many options and not many leaks/information, so who knows what it will be. -
Official RCT/RCT2 Help Thread
XYZ replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You can download it through many areas of the Internet and you save it under the ObjData folder in your RCT2 program file. (An easy way to get custom scenery is to download a good amount of parks on New Element.) -

Thanks, TP. Yes, Double Loop has a ton of inspiration to the one in Geauga Lake. Thanks. -
Neither. Would you rather have a new "forceless" B&M built in your home park or an intense Roller Skater?

Ugh, the new RCDB is all strange when it comes to linking images.

Not sure how a GCI caters to teens. It's a small scale wooden coaster, where most teens want something big, fast, and inverted. Teenagers are very attracted to these GCI wooden coasters and are consistently have a filled up queue with them. Families go to smaller-sized roller coasters.
