  1. Last year's event at Knott's was fantastic, so I'm definitely coming to WCB Knott's.
  2. I'm going to go against your opinion, yet again, on these new colors and say they are fine.
  3. Since when is it new that Cedar Fair puts similar color schemes on their rides?
  4. I doubt that the parks up north will do it, like SFGAm, where the average high for December is 34 degrees.
  5. People need to understand that Knott's is a family-oriented park, so they will obviously appease that crowd. Though, thrill rides will eventually come, it's not like CF forgot them. Anyways, it's a bit arrogant to say that Knott's attendance will fall flat in a few years, honestly. The management knows how to run a park much better than you and me, so it's a bit ludicrous to believe these kinds of things. Especially when there's really no apparent evidence to back it up and the park still has a ton of attendance.
  6. Prudential could invest in some really tall cinder block walls...
  7. Might as well put down my two local parks on here: LEGOLAND California: With an ever-expanding attendance, I would like to see a major ride put into the amusement park that isn't correlated with the water park. Something similar to Polar Xplorer would be perfect. SeaWorld San Diego: I feel like SWSD just lacks a few major rides really to make the park amazing. A family coaster, like a nicely-themed Mack spinning coaster would be nice.
  8. It's nice to see Adventuredome taking care of one of the few remaining Chaos rides as it really is a great flat ride.
  9. Outlaw Run Expedition GeForce Skyrush Mega Lite Intimidator 305 T Express
  10. So, you want the park to go back to its old days where they plopped down coasters throughout the park that you can find at many Cedar Fair parks? Cedar Fair isn't a theme park operator, like Disney and Universal, so I'm not expecting any amazing uniqueness in their rides. I'd rather have additions like 2013 Boardwalk than rides like VertiGo, Silver Bullet, etc. that did not fit in the area at all. Heck, what Cedar Fair did with the Log Ride is simply amazing. Right now, they are adding many family rides and they look nice and is a great aesthetic improvement over what the rides replaced. Remember, Knott's is spending much money on the Mine Ride and Log Ride, so I wouldn't expect a huge budget for family rides that are being built on the same year as these total revamps on these classic rides.
  11. Posting Excessively
  12. In my opinion, those "crazy colors" are a bit too tacky for my taste and that tan looks nicer.
  13. I would put all 4 parks in WDW for at least 4 days as a major priority. You do not want to miss these parks.
  14. It looks like King Cobra's footers really fits into the Banshee theme.
  15. For this ambitious trip, I do recommend going to BOTH Orlando and Southern California as these are the two places in the United States where there is a large cluster of parks in a small area. For the East Coast and the Midwest, I do not live there and do not have much personal experience with the parks, so my opinion would not be valid. Since you are going in late August and early September, many amusement parks have weekend-only operation, so be careful about that for non-theme parks. If it helps, I made an amusement park map some time ago of the US parks: http://www.screaminsider.com/download/file.php?id=498 (Though, I put a good dosage of minor parks that can be skipped on such a large trip.) Los Angeles is much more than SFMM and I don't understand why this park is singled out. While I do recommend for this person to go to SFMM, there is also Universal Studios, Knott's, & Disneyland all in Los Angeles' vicinity. About Vegas, the park that stands out is obviously Adventuredome (since it really is the only full-fledged amusement park in Nevada). Stratosphere has rather pricy rides and if the original poster doesn't have much of an interest in these rides, I do not recommend doing it. Also, Buffalo Bill's can just be a credit stop for one hour for Desperado. From a quick Google Search, Indianapolis is a little over four hours away from Cedar Point. I would try out Disneyland since you would already be in Southern California. Both Disneyland and Disney World are unique in their own respects, so I would recommend doing both, if possible.
  16. While I really like new trains on the Boomerang, that paint scheme makes my eyes bleed.
  17. I'm sure that screaming feature will work for years on end and not break down constantly...
  18. I like this idea. It would actually improve the park. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  19. We're back into talking about HFE buying this park from CNL again? Jeez, this thread only talks about a few ideas.
  20. The log flume at Buffalo Bill's. The park is not maintained well, has lousy operators, has ride perimeter gates wide open, and what tops it off is that the log flume has rotting wood in its theming.
  21. Perhaps the Intamin cable strikes again.
  22. I do agree to go on Full Throttle first if it has one train operation now. Though, if it has two train operation, I've seen the line being much shorter than Tatsu's line.
