  1. I'm impressed by Lightning Run. I did not expect the transitions to be so quick.
  2. The park doesn't seem to be in any trouble at the moment since the fire is a considerable distance away.
  3. Well, that kind of is the park's fault... Fixed.
  4. Sorry about that, I have been following your Youtube channel for over a year and your name has always been coasterguy14 until the last few weeks.
  5. Well, there goes your credibility for absolutely anything ever again. Why does everyone hate SFMM? They are one of the best parks out there. They don't have many family rides because Knott's and Disneyland are nearby. And their themeing is decent. Yeah, SFMM is not the best (Cedar Point is!), but SFMM is still a really good park. Since 2011 the park has changed and it's much cleaner than it was. SFMM is one of my home parks. I do not believe that it is one of the best parks out there because it lacks in quality. The park should improve on guest service, putting more quality into their rides and attractions, making the park look more presentable, and having employees be more enthusiastic and more efficient since I see many other parks just in Southern California doing a much better job at this than SFMM. I am not a big fan of the park since I go to the park and face many inconveniences, and the park could be a little nicer in its aesthetics. The park is catered to teenagers, so it obviously will focus on thrill rides, which is understandable, and it is an amusement park establishment, so it is understandable that it won't have the quality of theming of a theme park and it should not need to have that much quality in its theming. I am fine with your opinion and respect it, though I believe it is a bit too far to say this is one of the best parks out there. You have never been to SFMM before, coasterguy14. So, yeah...

  7. I believe that SBF Visa is still manufacturing Round Up rides.
  8. Excuse Me, but "Windseeker", "Flight Deck", "Drop Tower", "Woodstock Express", and "Power Tower" aren't really original names, they're just names that Cedar Fair "overused" so that they can step up their game with Six Flags!
  9. When was the last time that Six Flags even cloned one of their coasters? It's been a while.
  10. Late Spring = June 20th (aka last day of spring)
  11. there are people complaining that people are complaining about people complaining about Six Flags parks.
  12. The park is probably going to be quiet when this person visits, so this won't be much of a problem. However, if you do Full Throttle, X2, than Tatsu on a regular day, X2 and Tatsu would likely have hour waits by the time you get to them. Full Throttle is my favorite ride at the park. The restraints aren't very comfortable and the whole area looks really ugly, though the ride itself is really good despite its short length.
  13. Nice trip report, coasterguy14.
  14. Oh, so they are those lesser quality Dole Whips that you can find in many places. Well, that's exactly what I thought the Food Etc. Dole Whips would be like...
  15. I still need to try those Dole Whips to see if they are as good as the ones at Disney Parks and the Dole Plantation. Anyways, Food Etc. tends to be more shabby and have worse service than the rest of the park.
  16. For the first ride, I recommend choosing one of these three rides: Full Throttle, Tatsu, or X2. Once you are done riding one of these, go to the back of the park and ride the other two later. If you have a Discover card, use the 5 minute early entry line. If you are not able to make it to the park's opening, I'd just go on Orient Express, ride Superman, than go to the back of the park immediately. Apocalypse, Batman, Green Lantern, Riddler, Lex Luthor, Colossus, and Scream don't have much of a line if any in the first 90 minutes. X2 has less of a line around 3:00. Food: Don't go to Food Etc. unless you want to experience the "amazingness" of it. I have no idea about crowds since I never visited SFMM during a May weekday, though I doubt it will be busy.

  19. Technic Coaster at LEGOLAND California.
  20. Wow, that's such a nicely themed splash battle.
  21. Well, if the ZacSpin acts like anything on the above photo, that is the last thing you want. Green Lantern is my least favorite coaster at SFMM by far.
  22. The theming looks great on these two Heege towers.
