meme5053 I see that you are a new member so thanks for posting, but I should mention that you probably should re-read the posting rules: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21962 When it comes to making a post, please be sure to use proper capitalization, and this should probably be in the random forum. Again we know that you are a new member so it does take a little bit of time to learn the ropes around here, so thanks for joining up. I'm moving this to the Random area. ~Matt

TPR Member Profiles - What would YOU change?

^ I don't think there's a problem with the image sizing here. I get mine bumped out if they're too big. I would love to see the multiple quote addition. -
^ Watch the tone. It's a legitimate question.

There must be something in the water. I'm posting again! Twice in a week, holy crap! OK, I taste very little blueberries. Which is odd....because everything tastes like blueberries to me. LOL. Lots of fruit taste, and it's 8%. This could be trouble on a warm summer day. Ok, so the beer manager asked me to try this. Wild Blue from Blue Dawg Brewing. I think he said it's a AB brew. Good grief, it's purple! Nice and piney, with some fruitiness. Yum! I'm not down with DL, but I will drink Gumballhead. Nice roast, light coffee. Another fine Dark Horse brew. Next up, another of Matt's stout collection. Good lord, how many did I buy? Dark Horse's Plead the Fifth. St. Patty's Day 2009, can't come soon enough. Time to finish up the St. Patty's Day left overs. Goose Island's Kilgubbin. Seriously, one fine red ale.

TPR's Indiana Beach Video!

I would think they would. You're just importing 4:3 footage with crop marks, right? -
Very cool. Back in my day my high school used to have the premiere high school indoor percussion competition. Trust me, I'm dating myself. High schools from across the country would compete, as well as, some major universities like Texas, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. My senior year we played Live and Let Die, Black Dog, a REM song (it's name eludes me), and Baba O'Riley. I'll have to find that video tape.

Finally watched the second trailer last night. The more I see of Ledger's Joker, the more amped I am about this movie. It makes me wonder how on earth they would continue the series, without the Joker. If this goes longer than a trilogy, which I don't believe it will. I'm thinking this is the second, dark, good guy loses, chapter of the three.

^ Stop. Right now. -
I just bought Premiere. I love it. It can be quirky at times, but I'm writing that off on the large size of some of the files I'm working with. As for not being "professional," I'd say that's more of a user issue. I'm panning sound from channel to channel, using opacity, etc, etc. You can make it as "professional" looking as you want it to be. It just takes time.

Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread

Guys, arguing over a policy that does, or does not exist is silly. The ride doesn't have seat belts. What's the point of even bringing it up? Talking hypotheticals on how they will add them within five years is goofy. -
OK, just a couple pictures. I thought I had more. Yeah, yeah. Yadda, yadda, yadda. These crossovers are a bit much. I couldn't decide if I had mentally prepared for a stout, so my mouth was all confused at what it was tasting. Like Joe, I had picked up a bottle of Allagash Black. The belgian stout. I really liked this. It wasn't as heavy as I was expecting. A nice touch of milk towards the back end. I'm trying to clean out all the stouts I bought. Lefthand's Milk Stout. Nice and light. Now if we could just get the sun out long enough to enjoy this outside. New Belgium's spring seasonal. Springboard.

Too many complaints about Disney?
mcjaco replied to jackskellington101's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In short. Yes. Although I don't think what they've come up with in the last few years (Expedition Everest being an exception) all that impressive, it's still better than anything anyone else comes up with (yes, IOA is cool). As I've gotten older I've learned to love what is there and enjoy it, because really, you won't find an experience like it anywhere else. I miss attractions like Horizons, the original Journey, Kitchen Kabaret, 20,000 Leagues, Country Bear Jamboree (when it sounded good), but that doesn't mean I don't love what's there now. Perhaps it's not as magical, but it's still my favorite places to be in the world. You take the good with the bad. I'm probably one a handful of people that just does not think Soarin' is good. But somehow, they hit the nail on the head, so perhaps that Imagineer is right. The GP loves it, so perhaps the fanatics should shut the heck up. -
Strange SFAM security encounter.

This always amuses me greatly. When I handled claims for airports, everyone thought that there were video cameras taking footage of every square inch of the airport, and that the airports kept the footage indefinitely. Not the case people. Only high interest areas are filmed, and if nothing happens one day, the record over it the next. I highly doubt he was being filmed.
