  1. And for those of you that think the monoliths are a fine addtion to the entrance, this picture shows exactly why you are wrong. Nice, open, and inviting. We used actually hang out in this area, how many people do you see do that now?
  2. I'll third the suggestion for Indiana Beach. You'll have to take I 65 to get up to Chicago anyway. Give yourself extra time to get through Chicago. The Dan Ryan (94 on the southside) is under construction, the 294 tollway is under construction, and the Edens Expressway (94 north of the city) is under construction. Basically, every major expressway around and through the city.
  3. ^ Not quite what I meant. I'm just saying, there's other groups of people that remain silent about tragedies in their lives just like this. Shouldn't they be included too?
  4. Why is this just restricted to gays?
  5. That has to be Yakof Smirnoff.
  6. I didn't even know that was an option! --Robb It's quite nice. I use it on mine. As for the ride, I'm not a huge Simpsons fan, but this does look good.
  7. Take a gander through a Disney Forum. Good lord, fanboys are the worst of the lot for criticisizing Disney parks. And you'll certainly find people here complaining about them too. How many of R&E's PTR's make reference to the terrible bag checking policy? I'm an EPCOT fanboy, and although I'll defend it, I certainly won't shy away from pointing out it's flaws.
  8. If any of you still have the Sam Adam's Long Shot Weizenbock, cellar it for a month or two. I've found it to be more flavorful now. I'd be interested if you find the same thing. I've got pics, I'll probably get up tomorrow. I've got to take the car in tonight.
  9. ^^ I'm not even sure how to respond to that. The changes since EPCOT's opening have been tremendous. You can't make a blanket statement like that from one trip less than three years ago.
  10. My next photos probably be chronologically after that, so please do.
  11. ^ I'd put good money down that we'll be hearing this same story after May 16th.
  12. ^ Yeah, life has kind of gotten in the way. I find the pavilion list interesting. When was that published? I don't recall WoL being listed as a pavilion until much later in most of the intial brouchures.
  13. Thanks Barry. I actually thought I overused transitions as well after I watched it the other day. These, are a good constructive way to post criticisms and compliments. Just a note, I did not go on the Midwest Trip, just met them at IB.
  14. ^ Heck yeah. Like I said, in the scheme of things, an hour ouf your day at a park is a drop in the bucket. I film things as I wander around. Sometimes I have certain shots I know I want to get, but mostly I just do stuff as it happens. You can get a lot of footage over the course of a day doing it that way.
  15. ^ Of course we ride things. An hour of footage is nothing in the scheme of a whole day. You should be too, if you're only filming 4 minutes of footage!
  16. ^ I'd say with your current way of doing things, it makes it very difficult. What if you have footage that just plain old stinks? You HAVE to use it because you took just enough for the song you have in mind. I'd rather have too much footage, than not enough.

    DVDs?

^ Patience young grasshopper. They're sent through the postal service. Depending on how busy Robb and Elissa are, you should get it in two to three weeks.
  18. Well alrighty then. More long hours at work, a craptastic week, and running low on beer. So here's what's I got. Hey, he likes it! he really likes it! Light hop taste, nice fruitiness. I think that made it palatable for me. Tonight, local Two Brother's Hop Juice. So far, everything I've tried of theirs has not disappointed. But this is an IPA......dun, dun, dun! Oooohhhhhh. This was a recommendation from a buddy over the weekend, and he steered me right. Last night I headed over the Atlantic and picked up Nogne's Saison. Nice aroma. Then again, I love all stout aromas. Nice roast taste. Next, Great Lakes Blackout Stout. I went on a stout kick toward the end of December, and I'm still finding goodies in the depths of the fridge. Is there anything Founders makes that isn't top notch? Honestly, if I can drink this, and drink it without a hop face, I'm sold. First up, Founder's Devil Dancer. OH MY GOD, Matt's trying IPA's again!
  19. I was thinking he'd probably be selling!
  20. I thought the exact same thing. Decent theming around some malls, and some rides plopped down here and here.
  21. I should rephrase that. They should be moved. As in far away from the sightlines of World Showcase. They can take that stupid Soarin' hanger with them.
  22. ^ Honestly, at $47 one way, it'd be the same cost to rent a car for the day. Also be aware that 294 and the Edens Expressway north to Gurnee are both under major refurbishment projects this year. It could take you the better part of two hours to get up there in the morning rush hour, or back to you hotel in Rosemont.
  23. ^ Excellent. The layout reminds my of Kraken, which I know I'm in the minority, but didn't care for.
  24. Hey, hey what can I do? Ramble on to the that misty mountain hop, with my black dog, hope for no communication breakdowns, and get a whole lotta love. Otherwise, I'm just a fool in the rain.
