OK, how could you not at least take one picture of a Hooters girl for us? Poo-pooing the good tower and no orange hot pants. This fails on soooooo many levels.

We really need to make a sticky on this. If you preview your pictures before submitting the thread, they appear backwards. They won't be once you post, they go up in the order you uploaded them. It's a quirk in the system, and happens all the time.

As I live 8 miles south of the park, I can tell you I thought the weather sucked all day, and the highest wind gusts were later in the afternoon. Last summer when Paul and I stopped by Little-A-Merrick-A, the weatehr was horrendous. We we two of five people in the park, and they still were supposed to be open another two hours. The GM came around, asked us if we were there strictly for the credits, because she wanted to send everyone home and close up early. Obviously, it's not quite the same, but both of us understood why. The economics of the situation didn't make sense to keep it open.

I admitted earlier that I overused transitions. And I'll have you know I was drinking when I edited. It's makes it tolerable! ^ Just keep working at it. The more you do, the better you can get. I've been filming with video camera's since my Dad bought a GE with a deck in 1983. I think going into a project with a theme, or at least an idea of what you want to take helps too. And always take way more footage than you'll need. For every minute of actual footage in the videos I've made, I take ten times more footage (4 minute video = 40 minutes of raw footage). Good editing can make a poorly filmed video much better as well.

I had noticed it disappeared off their ride list in some paperwork we got at work a month ago, and thought nothing of it. I just went back to look and see if I remembered that correctly, and sure enough, it was gone. I'm not too familiar with the park, but how many go-kart tracks are there? EDIT. Nevermind, I thought I had a hunch, but realized I was wrong.

Rickles ad libbing could be dangerous!

I was thinking the same thing. In the future, make sure to get the names of who you spoke too. That way they know you talked to someone there, and they can confirm it. I'd say you got a lot of good rides in, and there's not much to complain about. If you knew the weather could close the park, then you're kind of asking for trouble. We had gusts up to 50 mph yesterday, so this shouldn't have been that big of a surprise.

Those are really sweet. I wish I had bought one of the retro EPCOT shirts when I was there in October. I such a dunce.
