  1. That trip with PACE, RTA and shuttles will take forever. The gist of it is, that there really isn't a good way to get there via public transportation. It'd be more expensive, but less aggravating, to rent a car for the day. Where are you staying? And which convention center? I'm assuming Rosemont?
  2. The wife and I did a tour of some of the resorts during our last visit in '06. It was interesting as I had never done that. I know, *GASP*! The Dolphin and Swan need to be bulldozed. Ugh.
  3. As a kid, I wanted nothing more than to be a Disney animator. I took classes at Disney, bought books, studied the history of the animators. These guys were some of my childhood idols. As with Robb, it makes me feel old. Sorry Chuck, I didn't see your thread!
  4. ^ It's a pretty common thing to do, for any construction project.
  5. ^ I met Rodney last month. His brew actually ages really well. Great clove taste. The Grape Ale does nothing for me.
  6. I watch this show all the time. How the hceck did I miss this?
  7. It's time to play some catch up. Let's see what I've got. Or we could consider this the worst engagement gift ever given. OK, when I took this, I didn't like it. Too much sugar beet taste. As it's warmed, I'm diggin' it. Let's stick to Dogfish Head's Raison D'Etre. Hot damn! I have to say, this was nice. I am getting a bit tired of the oak barrel, and the bourbon barrel aged stuff, but this was one IPA I can drink! Dogfish Head's Burton Baton. An oak aged IPA. Perhaps this IPA will win me over? Not too shabby. Nothing to write home about. Just a nice drinking brew. New Holland's Red Tulip. I enjoyed their Sun Dog, so I thought I'd give this a whirl. Did it work? At 10%, this is one potent brew. I liked it, but I'll stick to Brown Sugga. Which seems to be the only Lagunitas brew that I find outstanding. Lagunita's Hairy Eyeball. Yum. Yum. And more yum! Allagash's Dubbel Ale. Beer two. And that's two "meh" beers. Another selection from Walter Payton's. It's their Honey Wheat. This may be one of the finer dopplebocks I've had. Not to carmely, nice and smooth. First up, Capital Brewing's Dopplebock.
  8. We all know Derek popped the question because Nicole and I finally met, which inevitably means the end of the world is coming soon. It seems like just a few weeks ago when we met for diner you were both single......oh wait, that's because you were! Congrats you two! I will be bringing gifts of beer in the near future, Derek!
  9. And that's probably my problem, I take footage for my own enjoyment, along with shots of stuff that I couldmake a video out of. Probably not the best way of going at things, but it's a freakin' hobby so I try to enjoy myself in both filming and visiting the parks. I guess I'm just getting tired of people that don't make videos making the most "complaints."
  10. I hope you're being sarcastic. That's the whole point, you are in a museum about the Yeti.
  11. ^ Then perhaps you should try to put one together. It's not easy cramming hours of footage into a four minute segment, while trying to create a "theme." As I entered a video, and am not sure if it made the finals, I'm not making any judgements, until I've seen all of them.
  12. My wife just came back from her parent's house, and was doing some photo hunting. She found a picture of her with Dreamfinder. I am very jealous, as I never saw him once on our many trips there as a kid.
  13. Oh lord. Giggidy, giggidy, giggidy.
  14. Well of course they are. Aren't those the only two teams in the Major Leagues? ESPN sucks.
  15. .... if you know Barry Hom is sad and pathetic.
  16. ^ That's exactly how I'd describe the Raspberry Porter. Meh. Bubba, I can get Bell's quite easily, as it's just a hop, skip and a jump over the WI border. Larry Bell is not well liked around these parts anymore. With 11 hour work days lately, I haven't had much time to enjoy a brew.
  17. ^ I'm trying to come up with a concept on "Built This City." Or perhaps "Proud Mary."
  18. Same here. And if you entered and then post "critiques" (^ahem), you better be ready to get some back on yours. I like Barry's stalker clips, only because it tied the whole video together. We all know it's past being funny, but the way it themed the video worked.
  19. There better be cooking in this at some point.
  20. ^ I concur with Dave. Do Florida's parks first.
  21. ^ I'd se if you could send it in. Canon had my camera back to me within ten days. Of course, it was a covered issue.
  22. I have but one question. How can you love a ride not only before you've riden it, but even before it's done being constructed? What if, it's one large pile a poo for a ride?
