  1. ^ Did you like it? Or think it was crap? Four days of a bathroom remodel (not the powder room), led to lots of drinking. I hope I can the pics up this week, but I'm swamped.
  2. I think a little sensitivity needs to get pumped back into this thread.
  3. I would never say that there's always more positives than negatives. Some coasters are just bad. I have to give Six Flags props for at least attempting to make something a bit different, although as I said in my Media Day PTR, I felt is was missing something especially towards the end. If it weren't for the Media Day, I'd be pissed to have bought a Season Pass this year. This will probably be the first time in a long time that I just don't go to the park. ^ As for this weekend. Good luck, and get a Flashpass. It'll be the best money you ever spend. Just hit up RC, The Dark Knight, Viper and Demon first.
  4. Although I'll agree it's not the greatest ride of all time, I wouldn't slam it like you have here. There's always positives in every ride. It certainly is not Rajun Cajun. It doesn't even spin.

    Sad

It's probably better to PM Robb and ask him directly. Making copies of the DVD's is probably not something you should promote on the forum. These are part of Robb and Elissa's livelihood.
  6. I know of someone who may be in the area...... Give it a day or two, I'm sure we'll see something soon enough.
  7. I was about to say, this post has a couple of rumors: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=594268#594268 Most likely, more shops and/or an eating area.
  8. I'll just say this. Fences, especially ones that are required by the state, and the state sets the requirements (height, etc), are an extremely difficult defense to get around. No pun intended.
  9. This is fast heading for a lockdown. Some of you are about to get a 24 Hour time out. Congrats.
  10. ^ I'm actually surprised they're self insured. I know Disney is, I figured they'd be the only ones. Good argument. But would a Georgia jury buy it?
  11. ^ Or you could do a search, instead of making us lock this. There's tons of first rollercoaster ride topics if you search "first rollercoaster."
  12. Renovating our guest bathroom. How exciting.
  13. Actually, the engineer sits on the right. That would probably be the fireman. That's the railfan nerd in me.
  14. ^ That's the point guys. The coffee was being served too hot for consumption, and McDonald's knew it was for quite some time. I'm not saying putting in your lap isn't the brightest idea.... I defended many cases in a world where dumpb people win. Trust me, I don't like cases like any of these. They should but open and close case, but when you put your faith in a jury you never know what can happen.
  15. You misinterpreted Joe's repsonse. Everyone cites the McDonald's coffee case when it comes to frivilous lawsuits. The only thing that was really frivilous was the amount the jury awarded the plaintiff. There was a good deal of evidence that McDonald's had known there was an issue with the temperature of the coffee before the suit was filed. The burden of proof, if this goes to suit, is going to be on the family. I don't think there's enough here to support the early theory that ONE previous incident sets the precedent that this is danger to third parties. Not only that, but that the previous incident involves a employee who has access to resticted areas, not someone that chooses to jump fences to gain access to such areas.
  16. Do you know where they default save to?
  17. If no one's repolied in three days....probably not. That and the fact that I'm not even sure what you're referring too. I'm locking this.
  18. ^ They're the same ride. What's the difference?
  19. ^ Huh? Please check this out: TPR's TOS I know you're new here, but that post makes no sense. And "kool" is mispelled.
  20. Which will cost Six Flags thousands to defend. And it'll be a Georgia jury (no offense, Joe), but ugh. I guarantee they'll settle this before trial because of the cost implications, not the principle. It's the unfortunate way the legal system works here, and as much as I hate to say when I handled liability claims, "Christians" were the worst. It was their defense for everything, "I'm a good Christian, this has to be someone else's fault." As a Christian myself, I found that just revolting. Religion doesn't dictate liability or ignorance.
  21. Searches people. This could have gone into this thread: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=44520 Which is why I'm merging.
