  1. The post office (Gotham National Bank) has scaffolding up around it, so I'll try and get som pics this week. There were cement trucks all over the place when I went over at lunch on Thursday. Here's a pic of the alley which was Gotham News Network. Which is where I work, the building, not the GNN. It's a little grainy, as I had to lighten it because I took it at night.
  2. ^ It bumps crap threads. Two, it's pretty easy to determine what is Spam. It's usually a poster with one post (the Spam post), and nothing but links. The one today, was nothing but three links to a "garden center." Use your common sense. If you think it's Spam, don't reply. If it is, it will get deleted, and you won't be sitting around with a ban.
  3. They're the one. They make bathtime so much fun.
  4. Guys, Just a reminder. I had to 24 hour ban someone today for responding to spam. DO NOT RESPOND TO SPAM! - If you see SPAM on the boards, do NOT respond to it, do not link to it, do not do ANYTHING with it. The mods will delete it shortly. If you see a SPAM thread that has been up for an extended amount of time (more than two hours as an example), use the "report post" button to alert the moderators. DO NOT use the "report post" button for ANY OTHER REASON! If you respond to a spam thread, or use the report post button for any other reason, you may be given a temporary ban for 24 hours. Use the Report button, if it's posted for a SIGNIFICANT amount of time. One of the mods will get to it sooner rather than later. I've updated the Posting Rules Sticky, but this should be well known by all of you by now. Thanks, Matt
  5. Do a Google search for Amazing Earl. His website should pop right up.
  6. Are you one of the commentors on my Cubs blog? You must be to find one comment and turn it into a ridiculous point. Fine, it's not one of the "cookie cutters." It was the last ballpark built before the retro movement. Is that better.
  7. Yeah. This should probably be posted in the Video Forum, if it were properly posted any way. Locking it down. ~Matt
  8. Post deleted. It's not like the thread's title doesn't say "No Spoilers Please." Reading.....it's fun duh mental.
  9. I'll let her know your thoughts, so you can explain in person next time we go out for dinner!
  10. It has. It was on this page. Please do a search. Locked. ~Matt
  11. RCT2 really had the best in game scenery. I'm not sure you could go wrong with just using the default stuff. There is a few sets that are very cool to have, like the Disneyland packs, which can be grabbed at RCTMart. A must is anything from Amazing Earl. He made custom rides, as well as scenery.
  12. ^ Perhaps. I'm quite certain my Rav4 can hold more than my old Neon. And to set the record straight, I wanted a Mazda6, and even test drove it multiple times. The wife wanted something that rode higher. Being the smart man I am, I decided not to cross her.
  13. ^^ Yes. ^ Yes. Think semi flipping over as well.
  14. Here's a teaser.
  15. Kalvin, this is your last warning on posting rather pointless topics. After the multiple railfan threads you are on thin ice. Please read the TOS, before starting a new thread. ~ Matt
  16. So last week, I was fortunate enough to get a little look see at Celluar Field (home of the Chicago White Sox for those of you that don't know). My buddy is a season ticket holder and once a year, they open up the park to them for a looksee at real insides of the park. This Cub fan stepped inside, and took a look around. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to throw a bullpen session on an actual bullpen mound. Naturally as a Cub fan, I made sure to do it in the visitor bullpen. With that, here we go..... This PTR was made in Pakistan. Once again, I managed to get in and out of Cellular Field without being killed. After my arm fell off we did one more lap around. Here it is. History was made here. I pitched for the first time on a major league mound. It was worth the price of admission......free! This was my chance. I blew it. However, I do like the fact that only Knockers is visible on my shirt. While waiting in line for a picture with something I should of tried to trash, I took this BE U TEE FULL picture. Followed by a little Carlton Fisk. I know at least one Boston fan that will like this. They unveiled the Harold Baines statue earlier in the week. Win Ugly, baby. Win ugly! Black Jack McDowell. Good pitcher. Not so good musician. They've got a nice little museum. Here's the Big Hurt's bat. Surprisingly it was a 34 inch/31 ounce. Fairly normal size. Marco demostrates the look after most Sox games. A loss. Letting multiple helpings of ribs and fried chicken settle, we checked out the press room. Part of the evening is a free buffet with free crappy beer. An Acer would feel right at home! We're up in the ChiSox bullpen now. This area is filled with dead arms. I've gone artsy fartsy. A look down the left field line. Next he demostrates a look often found within in the Sox dugout. Complete confussion as to what's occuring on the field. Here Marco takes Ozzie's spot. Sadly he dropped about as many F-bombs in the same period of time. The view if you were to be a wild pitch. Sadly this is the closest I'll ever get to warming the bench in a MLB dugout. This leads right out past the nasty visitor bathroom, and into the dugout. These finely tuned athletes eat nothing but the best. Jesus H. Look at all that crap! First stop the Visitor clubhouse. We entered in a back gate that led us through the tunnels underneath. Ha, I said back gate. Welcome to the Cell. The last of the new era cookie cutter baseball stadiums.
  17. They're pretty spread out. So give me some time.
  18. It's not the topic. It's how it's been presented the last two times. Very Poorly. I too am a railfan, but I'd at least put more thought into a thread about before I posted.
  19. You asked this three weeks ago. Whose A Railfan? It was locked as outlined by Wes. I'm locking this for the very same reasons. ~Matt
  20. The lag issue was "fixed" with the Soaked Expansion and with the Gold and Platinum Editions. To be honest, the fix didn't make it that much better. Night time is graphics intense, and will always slow RCT3 down, there's no way around it, unless you just set your park to close before dark. So, unless you've got a monster rig, night time lag is here to stay.
  21. ^ Some of us have managed to get sweet gigs that are open and flexible for vacation time. Some of us have worked long enough at one place where we get four to five weeks off. It all depends. I know it seems like a lot of the members you see in the updates are always on trips, but it's not the case. We have to pick and choose the trips we want to do.
  22. The scene is of the Joker walking down the hall after he visits Dent, and then triggers the explosion while still inside the building. So, he'd have to have let him go. He introduced a little chaos, so to speak.
  23. I got the impression that he let Dent loose, and they left seperately. ^ I noticed that Sweet Home Chicago sign too. I think that's the only sign that would give away the shooting location though.
  24. Just a pre-emptive warning. Let's keep this on topic, and away from political discussions.
  25. I'd say he'd be better of using proper capitalization and grammar too. That's just my mod-self talking though.
