Woodland Heights[RCT2]
mcjaco replied to Thelegendarymatthew's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It's also Heights. Not Hights. Nice work thus far. -
^ Totally agree. This is an excellent PTR. Keep it up! It's lacking EPCOT photos, though.

OK, this has developed into being completely pointless. Locked.

^ I forgot to mention, I was also broke from that job. My paycheck went right back into the store! -
Unfortunately, that requires purchasing land for the said resorts. I don't think any of the Six Flags chains have enough land for that. I'm not sure any hotel chain would want to be tied into a lease deal for such a thing. Disney was in a unique situation where he purchased all the property because he wanted to build a resort. I know that wasn't Marriott's plan when they built Great America. It was just a nice day trip for locals. What can you do? They'll always be local, day trip, parks. At least in my opinion.

^ I'm pretty sure Cedar Point is the only one with hotels that are a "part" of the park. I don't see any of the Six Flags or CP parks somewhere I'd plan an entire vacation at, which is what I think John is trying to say. Get the people in the gate, and make sure they don't want to leave to go eat, etc.

Hmmm, on International Drive.....there's Ponderosa, The Sizzler. Depends where on I-Drive. There's plenty of places to eat. Mostly chains. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings, which is a must, if you haven't been. Crowds at that time of the year start to dwindle. You'll probably see less crowds at the end of your trip, as school will most definitely be back in session. It will be hot and humid. Be prepared!

You can easily do each of the Busch parks in a day each. Especially at the time you're going. As for water parks, if you haven't been to a Disney one, go to Blizzard Beach. If you have, Wet N Wild gets rave reviews from people here on TPR.

^ Actually, it's not. This is bordering on creepy.

Get a job at your local hobby shop. I did that through college. Not only do you get to play with toys, you get discounts. My collection of over 100 locos and 300 pieces of HO rolling stock came mostly from those four years. -

Theme Park Review POSTING RULES!
mcjaco replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Then you should re-read this rule: 5. Do not post for posting sake. What does this mean? If all you do is respond back to posts saying "Yeah, me too" or "I agree" or "Thanks!" you are not adding anything to the conversation. If you do this every once in a while, that's ok, but we have users here that seem like all they are doing is trying to post as much as possible to increase their post count. Well, there is no prize for having high post count, so please, only respond if you have something to add to the conversation. We have a way to edit your post count, and we will use it if we feel you are posting too much for no reason. -
Both of you need to chill out. Your posts aren't adding anything worthwhile to the converstaion, and coastercrazed49's are coming off as bitchy. Disney does not allow POV's on RnRC. End of story. Anything you see on Youtube was probably taken secretly. You can try, but enjoy the rest of your stay in DHS' parking lot.

^ Tease all you want. Bell's is back in Chicago! I had some on Saturday!!!! Is that place in Orlando? We made need to swing by there for real beer.

Gwazi, smooth? I can't wait to get back to Busch and really spend some time there. October can't come soon enough.

Wait. What's going on here. This isn't a thread with just a link...... -
Word to the wise, you guys might want to blank out your license plates before posting pictures. You are traceable by them.
