  1. These two guys are super hunky. Or hulky.
  2. ^ And no texting shorthand!
  3. See the reasoning is just so dumb, it hurts. Why do you need to pay out the a$$ for something that 1.) is going to depreciate the minute you touch the gas pedal, 2.) is going to cost you $85 everytime you need to fill up, and 3.) you can get something that's more economically and environmentally better. Hummer H3: $33,035 23 gallon tank - 16 MPG - 368 miles on a full tank Honda Fit $15,270 10.8 gallon tank - 30 MPG - 324 miles on a full tank I'm glad you have money to blow........oh wait, it's not your money. Honey.
  4. Moving this to the Rumor Superthread. Let's keep all this in there. ~Matt
  5. I didn't feel it. But the people in our LA office just had to evacuate during our teleconference!
  6. If you fill up once a week, that's $1,300 a year. That's basically my mortgage payment, monthly association fee, and utilities. That is a BIG deal. This is precisely why we're in so much trouble. People who decide they "need" a super huge SUV even though there's no need for one. And don't argue safety. There are plenty of small cars that out perform Hummers in crash tests. Of course, if you drive like an idiot, like tailgating, safety features should be your top priority. Not to mention all of us that drive should thank you for continuing to raise the price of gas, and our insurance premiums.
  7. As a mod I'm slightly irked by your remarks. For one, we aren't prowling around looking for stupid posts and threads awaiting to lock them. And we certainly don't have ulterior motives in regards to who/what is acceptable and/or cool. If you had any idea how many completely stupid threads we delete before anyone even sees them.....oy. This thread has gotten of course so many times by moronic discussion, I don't see how a silly little joke that took up a page and a half, could get anyones knickers in a bunch. Especially one that Robb is obviously partaking in. This is also a lesson. Don't visit the Alveys, and forget to log off. You've been warned.
  8. Hmm, let's see simple math. 15 gallon tank x 20 mpg = 300 miles. 15 gallon tank x 28 mpg = 420 miles. Yeah, you're right. That's not that big a of a difference.
  9. CNN has an article on Bale yesterday. He said he's in for a third if Nolan is. I guess that's good news. Although it's still too early. My parents saw the movie yesterday and loved it. My Mom was excited because someone she works with someone that was an extra, and was actually in the movie. With a speaking part!
  10. As a matter of fact, a week after we moved into our home, we were awoken to our neighbor singing it outside. At 2 AM.
  11. Technically, that would be three words.
  12. ^ Not sure I follow that. In RCT Gold the file structure looked like this: /Program Files /Atari /Rollercoaster Tycoon 3® /Styled /Themed /Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 /Styled /Themed With Gold, you want to put CS in the Themed Folder under the Rollercoaster Tycoon, not the one with the ®. I have no idea, why they had two sets of folders. Whether or not they changed how it works with Platinum, I have no idea. I'd try putting in the ® Theme folder first, and if that doesn't work, move onto the second folder tree.
  13. I'm guessing Mega = Platinum here in the US. I'm not sure if the file structure is the same in Gold and Mega/Platinum.
  14. I'm glad I went back to see it again. And I think I might go one more time. The second time through I got to catch all the plot points, rather than trying to absorb the whole thing at once. I'll try and get some pics later this week. I've got two or three random PTR's I want to do.
  15. Depends on the version. Do you have Vanilla or Gold? Gold has two different sets of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 folders. If that's what you have, don't use the one with the ® on it.
  16. Keep checking the other scenery tabs. I know the cafe isn't in the "walls" section. Some of them get put into the sub categories you don't expect them to be in.
  17. Had you used the set before, or was this the first time? I've had that problem if the scenery wasn't installed properly.
  18. If I recall, I read somewhere that the Tigers still had one employee that "kept the lights on" at Tiger Stadium the last few years. They waited to tear it down because they kept trying to make deals for a minor league team or, for use with the Park District. Does anyone remember a movie where Roy Scheider was the manager of the Tigers? I loved that movie as a kid.
  19. I went and saw it again this morning. Loved it even more the second time around. Friday, I took a couple of pictures of a few places you guys might recognize from the film. I'll try and take some more this week on my lunch breaks.
  20. This does not bode well for It's a Small World.
  21. Me too. My ride wasn't rough. It was forceless. I'm relegating that to being in a middle row though.
  22. Which is it? Lay it down or stand it up?
  23. ^ Welcome, and I'm glad you got it all figured out! RCT3 is rewarding, aggravating, tempermental, and serious fun! Just an FYI, please use proper grammer and capitalization. I know the Games forum is a small "community" within in a community, but the posting rules still apply. Thanks all! ~Matt
  24. Agreed. The default fences in RCT3 really leave o lot to be desired.
  25. We should totally lock this now.
