  1. 1. Montu (BGT) 2. Raptor (CP) 3. Dragons (IOA) 4. Afterburn (Carowinds) 5. Batman (SFMM) All in order from greatest to least (I like all of them though ).
  2. Wish granted. One thing I find shocking is that people don't mention HRRR at Universal. Not that I agree with that (I love that ride so much), but just a little shocked. I guess I'd tear out Revolution at SFMM, but some nostalgia is making me decide against that statement...
  3. Best: I really like what BGT did to Gwazi. The new trains really improved the ride. And even though I haven't ridden it yet, I'm absolutely in love with the new I305.
  4. Greetings! Looks like Silver Star is going to lose its throne as the tallest B&M in the world (80 meters = approximately 262 feet)! Whoa, this looks epic already!
  5. Thanks. Just when I had hopes that this thread would die out again...... Sorry...
  6. Hopefully this is true (I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but I think it's worth posting). From Screamscape:
  7. I also have a gut feeling CGA is in danger. I'm trying to be optimistic but I honestly think that what is in Invertigo's place (Inverti-Garden) is a bad sign. Why would CGA put in a garden in the area where they say a new attraction will go up next year? I think the writing could be on the wall IMO...
  8. Well, the closest park to me now (worth going) is SeaWorld Orlando. While I love SeaWorld, my favorites are Busch Gardens Tampa, Islands of Adventure (pretty much the same distance, though another mile or so), and Six Flags Magic Mountain.
  9. I'm actually thinking Intamin's 12-inversion design...
  10. Looks like this coaster's construction record is far worse than HRRR.
  11. I went there last summer and had an absolutely magnificent time! I think my favorite coaster there is Blue Fire.
  12. Coasterboy from CWMania was at the park today with some shots of the supposed 2012 construction: http://cwmania.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2051&p=44666&sid=fa2cc3feb0794e51579fd8a094f59320#p44666
  13. I think I've been on Hulk at IOA the most, but I don't remember how many times.
  14. It's... it's... it's... so... BEAUTIFUL!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!
  15. My List: Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (USF) Scream (SFMM) Viper (SFMM) Gwazi before the new trains (BGT) I wouldn't say "hate," but I find it shocking that a lot of people dislike Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. I really like the ride. Yeah, it can get kind of shaky at some points, but it is far from the worse. And when it is smooth, it gives awesome airtime. Scream was also fun when I visited SFMM, but my only complaint is the parking lot underneath it. Otherwise, it is a great ride. Viper was awesome too. I also liked Gwazi before the trains (though the new trains are an improvement).
  16. That ride only gives air on the first drop and the one airtime hill. I know, I haven't gone on many hypers yet (I rarely go out of state).
  17. I have been to 8 coasters in SFMM, 4 coasters at Disneyland Resort (Disneyland and DCA), and 2 coasters at SCBB. Best Wood: I've only been on one - Giant Dipper. It was very cool. Best Steel: X2 at SFMM. Hands down! Worst Wood: Same as best. If I would have gone on Apocalypse at SFMM, Giant Dipper would have been here, but Giant Dipper is still fun. Worst Steel: Revolution at SFMM. I didn't "hate" it, but it was kind of shaky for me.
  18. ^It should be interesting to see what develops in that area... does anyone know if Speed City was closed that day? I remember reading a rumor at CWMania that Speed City could be on the chopping block. EDIT: After reading the quote again, it seems that the ride is still open for now. They have a wooden fence separating the area under construction from Speed City.
