You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

You might be a coaster nerd if one of the requirements to date someone is that they like to ride roller coasters. -
The Off-Season Survival Thread

I'm going to need to make a road trip to one of the Six Flags soon. Kemah and Galveston Pier just don't do it for me anymore. I just have that itch to ride some coasters but I've been so busy or the weather has been crappy. Until then, I actually been going to a lot of free screenings lately for movies. Some of the movies, I could care less to see but its free. I'm not sure if you consider movie watching a hobby. -
Sad thing is people fail to realize all the good Sea World does for the environment and especially wildlife. I think it's fair to say they are one of the best companies for this. Yeah, I wish someone would now make a documentary about all the good SeaWorld Parks do for the wildlife but that would never sell. I haven't listen to Barenaked Ladies since they had that one hit song that was out for like a week. (see what I did) Seriously, I had no idea they were even still a band.

Looks like a fun time. That cupcake looks yummy. -
I am thankful for: * RMC and Intamin for going beyond the norm to create some amazing rides. * Front of the line systems at all parks * Cinnamon Bread from SDC or Dollywood Happy eat lots of Turkey Day!

Best Gravity Group Woodie
Mrlittle replied to djboss302's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Just FYI, the Twister Gravity Group built is at Grona Lund. But the same could be said about this coaster since its location, its probably very underrated. -
Another fan of Sky Rocket. I love to see more of those around the US. Small, compact but full of fun. Just looking at those Kennywood photos reminds me of my last visit. The park is like Sky Rocket being a small and ompact but full of fun.

Marvel Super Heroes 4D in Las Vegas
Mrlittle replied to KBrylczyk's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wax Museums tend to freak me out a little. The Marvel 4D theater sounds some what decent. I might have to check it out next time I am in Vegas. -
I start a new job on Monday.

Best Gravity Group Woodie
Mrlittle replied to djboss302's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hmm, I guess I haven't been on that many GG woodies. Just because I am a homer, I will say Boardwalk Bullet but I have not been on the Voyage. So this might change this summer. -
ExtraTERRORestial Alien Encounter at the Magic Kingdom. I loved that ride. Especially the Tim Curry robot. Horizons at EPCOT. I always enjoyed being able to pick your simulation ride at the end. Add Journey into Imagination at EPCOT as well. There was just something unique about that ride and area. I love to ride any of the coasters from Six Flags Astroworld one last time. I probably rode Viper so many times that my hand print was in the grass on the last turn. Hopefully. one day I can make it to Japan to get some Ultra Twister rides. I was supposed to go the last day of Astroworld operating but ended up not being able to. I regret that decision to this day. If only I could get one last ride.

What Rides Scares the Crud Out Of You?
Mrlittle replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For me, its the flat ride Evolution that scares the crud out of me. Now it could very well be that the only TWO times I've rode it was at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo carnival but still. I also swear this last year I rode it, the ride op held us up for longer. -
What do YOU take with you to a park?
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So my list of crap I bring to the park: Wallet - sometimes just a credit card and season pass/ticket iPhone - use as my camera keys - if I am driving sunglasses - a huge must bring I used to bring more but I started to lose things on coasters. You would of thought I learned by the 3rd time. So yeah, fewer crap to put in zip/button pockets.
