In the past 10 months, I've seen 3.25 pairs of boobies. How exactly does the .25 work?

The characters are pretty random. I have to agree, I wasn't so impressed with Crush being in there either. My DD loved it though. But I wish they did it like the old ships...now I have never been on either of them, but from what I have read, I really liked the way AP was done on those ships. I had been on an older ship. Granted I was a lot younger. From what I remember: (It was pretty boring, however I would love it now) We ordered, Sat there for what seemed to be FOREVER! Food came, a while later the walls (Which were black and white) Slowly came into color, a Video montage of Disney Animation was on a screen somewhere. The waiters changed outfits. A little later there was a parade with flags....again foggy memory, so I don't remember why that happened. Great Concept, I hope the next one has more improvements!

I like the Mural, but the character selection is very random. Probably just the left brain thinking and my personal preferences, but I would prefer to see them in some sort of Organization. Mini Rant-To be honest, I don't really like that Turtle talk with Crush is held in ANIMATORS Palet. Yes Crush is an Animated Character, but really, a Turtle in a restaurant doesn't to much fit the scene. To me it seems like a- "Hey people love this, where can we throw it in" attempt. Maybe it was more thought out, IDK. However I believe these thematic problems will be solved on the next ship. Enjoying the PTR like always! -Zach

R.D.'s Patent's thread.
The SETGO Guys replied to QueerRudie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Controversial? That may be the wrong word. While people seem to take two vastly different sides on these two coasters, I wouldn't say they are Controversial. Maybe very expensive.....pushing the limits of Coaster design. Very interesting designs and concepts, I would like to get the chance to ride these. The mechanics are very very interesting, I really hope. (Thought it is doubtful) That we may see more of these two types of coasters with improved operating systems, as I've heard they can usually have long lines, and be somewhat problematic. REQUEST-I would love to see the Trackless Theater Rides, that WDI (Walt Disney Imagineering) Created for the Great Movie ride and Ellens Energy Adventure! The Test Track/ Journey to the Center of the Earth and soon to be Carsland Ride system would be cool to see. And of course, the two (what I would consider) the most important advances in Dark Ride Technology! The Omnimover and the Boat Propulsion technology! -
WATER! Drink lots of water. If you don't want to spend tons of money on water, heres a tip. Go up to any food stand and ask for a cup of Ice water. It always work. Also, I don't do this myself but.....Do the outside rides in the early morning or late afternoon, do shows and inside rides during the day. You will not only cut down on the heat, but you'll also see a reduction in wait times too!

Next problem.... If I was to combine all the Intamin Pre-fab Wooden Coasters into one giant mega-coaster !!!! What would the track-length be? The correct answer is probably not 69 As much as you'd like it to be! (If you have any suggestions for future questions, please PM them to me! I would really appreciate it!)

1.Male 2.16 3.My first coaster experience was the Barnstormer Coaster at Walt Disney World. However for unknown reasons, I became scared of coasters for a good several years. I rode the Comet at Hersheypark that sparked my interest in actually riding coasters. 4.I had always loved coasters, but I did not start riding them until I was 12/13 5.Too many to count 6.To show off how much I love coasters, to advertise for the park my favorite rides and show appreciation to the Engineers and designers for doing such a great job 7.Probably 10, I would go more often but I am unable to get rides 8.I think Coasters are one of the greatest engineering feats that have ever been created, they give us a chance to push engineering and human emotions to a limit, and manipulate emotions. 9.Yes, I really do love riding Coasters 10.No, I really don't think that it is possible with regular daily activities to replicate the forces found on a Coaster, a Coaster is designed for allowing you to feel forces. Objects are usually made to give us a confutable unexciting use. 11.Yes and No, I think that my Love for coasters stems from the technicality of them, not so much from the forces produced, that being said, biologically, yes they have a impact that we cannot ignore. 12.Obviously we keep building bigger and faster rides, we repeat rides multiple times and we visit new rides. 13.That would depend on the nature of the ride, quick is a time sense, not a ride. However I believe the wait time plays a big impact on this. I wouldn't be as willing (Happy) to wait for a shorter coaster (Unless it was VERY unique). However if the wait time is short, you will usually find that your ride will be much more enjoyable, and the re-ride factor will ultimately be much higher. 14.To replicate the experience, No. I turn to forums to be able to meet and discuss with other people my interest. 15.Daily 16.While Mirror Neurons in our heads replicate to a minimal extent some of the feelings, I do not believe you cannot replicate adrenaline. I think we turn to Rollercoaster videos to be able to analyze what we have rode, or to be able to look over elements or engineering/design work that we find interesting and or appealing .

Thorpe Park: What ride will make me love roller coasters?
The SETGO Guys replied to PackerGrant96's topic in Ask Alvey
The main purpose of any amusement ride is to evoke emotions. Weather that emotion be fear or pleasure. I was in the same sort of situation when I was 12/13. I absolutely loved Coasters....yet I was afraid to ride them, even kiddie coasters and whatnot. I think the important thing is to strap yourself down in a seat and enjoy it. It seems like something you can't do at the time. But when I sat down and thought about it, I realized that my fear was irrational. I didn't fear anything on the coasters, I was just afraid of what the feelings would be like (Physical and mental). So go up to a coaster, doesn't matter the size, get in line, Strap yourself in, and enjoy! Believe me, it will be the greatest experience of your life! The first few coasters you will be scared on, but eventually, you'll build up a tolerance, (INSERT PSYCHOLOGICAL/BIOLOGICAL RAMBLING HERE LATER) where you will be able to ride anything without that fear of the Unknown.(Which I need to start getting rid of for other things in my life ) Believe me, you will love it! I hope to hear that you rode a Coaster! Good Luck! (OH! and take some pictures for a Photo Trip Report!) -Zach "I was scared at one time too" F -
In math related news I got an "A" on my final exam for math! Which is why I started the Theme Park Numbers! thread!

Unfortunately that is a pretty bad picture of the door, but I will count that as correct. (Andrew and I counted a different number yesterday....I'll confirm that with him) According to a fan site There are 2 more doors in the fastpass queue so that would supposedly make 14144!----------------- Next Problem How many Vekoma SLC coasters are currently operating? How many B&M Inverted Coasters are currently operating? What is the Ratio of Vekoma SLC Coasters to B&M Inverted Coasters?

Coolest Ride Vehicles
The SETGO Guys replied to Cerberus's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I hate those things, personally. It's cramped, and one of my arms is always wedged up against something to the point that I can't move it. My vote for best vehicle goes to Spider-Man. Rockin' Roller Coaster at DHS........well the trains look awesome! But they are pretty uncomfortable, I'm pretty skinny and short, so I felt like I had a bit of room, yet the seat back was horrible! My first ride was Ok....no head banging. By my Second and Third time around, I got a ton of head banging, it hurt my neck. My favorite ride cars- Tower of Terror-Awesome Looking Elevator type car Ellens Energy Adventure/Great Movie ride- Giant Trackless boxes.....'nuff said The Trams at Disney X-Cars- They looks really nice B&M Inverted Coasters-I love the look Jungle Cruise Boats- The rustic feel really adds alot Jaws-Intamin Diesel Powered Tracked Boat- I love the Mechanics of the boats! A ton more! Ride cars are one of the coolest and best parts of any ride! -

Nice trip report! You rarely see pictures of Hulk's Queue line. I like the theming of it, pretty good for an outdoors coaster. I could do without the cheaply animated film however. Also, some good pictures of HULK itself! Sounds like you had an awesome day! -Zach -
Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
The SETGO Guys replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Uh, yea it is. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. It's a great ride. Oh yeah it is a great ride! Really it can all come down to how the guide is, We had an OK guide on my tour. He was a bit un-enthusiastic...Our Bank Robber was pretty good, I wish he would've interacted with us (We were in the front row). My favorite part of the ride has to be the Ride system/cars, its really cool to watch that! As for another GP- My Sister (and Several others I noticed) Repeatedly referred to Rockin' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith as Rockit' and my sister asked me several times if we got to choose our music. Interesting that Rockit' seems to have more of an influence than Rockin' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. -
Facebook and Chatting with people, I always get so distracted! This is more OCD, but I always love Restarting computers....I don't know why, I just love doing it.

I did a search and couldn't find any really nerdy threads about Numbers in Theme Parks! So I decided to start a thread where we could document them! Simple rules, I'll post a question about a theme park, your answer will be a number! (We'll start easy!) (It could be anything! Track Length,Height,Number of objects, Theoretical Capacity)(The Goal being that eventually we could get some really hard problems to solve!) Pretty Simple! If you get the answer correct, you can post the next one! QUESTION NUMBER ONE! How Many Marbles are on 1 door in the Rockin' Roller Coaster Queue at Disney's Hollywood Studios? Bonus- There are 4 doors- How many Marbles total? Answer Below! A picture of the Marble door in the Rockin' Rollercoaster line EDIT-I appreciate the Humor......I understand that is an vital part of TPR, I would however appreciate if this could be a somewhat serious thread! Thanks!

Photo TR: Hidden Mickey's of WDW
The SETGO Guys replied to gisco's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Eddie Valient Window is one of my favorite little "Hidden" tributes out there! I recently watched Who Framed Rodger Rabbit with my little brother, so it was fun to point it out to him. Probably one of the greatest Disney films. I must say I loved the Tower of Terror Queue. It may not be hidden mickeys, but I found myself walking around the library during the pre-show looking at all the references! It really was awesome! (The ride is pretty good too!) -

The SETGO Guys replied to thrillrider's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Its odd how Cedar Point has seems to have some really nice spots to it, yet has some areas that seem to need a lot of work. I really like the theming they seem to be putting in, it adds a lot to the park! Hopefully I can get out there some day! Thanks for the great pictures!
