  1. Schwarzkopf! On Lightning Racer what side, (Green) Thunder or (Red) Lightning?
  2. The second picture of your family and Mt.Rushmore is framed perfectly! The Rocks look pretty cool too. I don't think too many people count Spinning kiddie rides as credits. Thanks for sharing! -Zach
  3. Disney Parks has a nice little time slot planned I'm sure we'll get some good updates and announcements! I've heard some crazy rumors on what may be announced, so I'm still a bit skeptical about the rumors coming out. Everything from Test Track to Brazil (Of course the usual bunch that never go away also...Beastly Kingdom...) I bet they spend a good amount of time going over whats being done. Should be an amazing time! Have Fun!
  4. Does anyone know anything about the next Version of Toy Story Mania going in to Tokyo Disney Sea? Is it going to be a clone...or is it going to be somewhat different? I really haven't heard anything about it.
  5. Robb, you might find this piece of concept art from Toy Story Mania Interesting. Very simular design. Concept art for Toy Story Midway Mania!
  6. Greatest Updates Ever! The Castle looks great, and the Landscaping is "Perfect". Seriously this park looks amazing.
  7. My local paper decided to go for its own spin on this topic. The results produced an idiot ranting to the paper. (If you read to the end, you'll see why) Cary Frounfelter, Please pick up your Idiot of the year award....
  8. I always find Tokyo Disney a seeming jarring transition from some of the other Japan parks. Tokyo Disney is American based but manages to make the locals seem welcome.... Needless to say... I NEED TO GO HERE!
  9. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=46024&start=300&hilit=Worlds+of+Fun This is the offical WOF thread. You can check here. (As a tip for the future...run a quick search...thats all I had to do and I found a duplicate topic)
  10. So far that I've been on Rock'n'Roller coaster Starring Areosmith. The other Launches I've been on Cheetah Hunt Skyrocket (....I think I'm forgetting one) But RNR Is the only one (Except on Cheetah Hunt if you load in bay 2) that stops before the launch....that seems to make it more forcefull.
  11. Zach's Disney Transportation Tips 1.If you eat a meal at a Disney hotel you can skip parking at the parks and save a TON of $ (Ex. Eat Breakfast at Chef Mickeys @ the Contemporary, Park in that parking lot, Eat Breakfast, and take the monorail to either the MK or EPCOT! You'll save money on parking and you can avoid the parking rush (Everyone streaming out of the parking lot) 2.If you go through the TTC and it looks crowded...take the Ferry! Its only a few feet away and it takes about the same time. (If you want the experience of riding both, take one in the morning the other in the afternoon) All of these people could be skipping this really long Monorail line if the walked another few feet down to the landing. Boats to EPCOT And Disney's Hollywood Studios All EPCOT Resorts are connected by Boats that run on 15 min intervals, (Swan and Dolphin Boat Launch is fastest for going to the Studios & Boardwalk is the the fastest for going to EPCOT) Eat a meal at one of the Hotels and you are free to use the Watercraft and FREE parking! Animal Kingdom is in the middle of nowhere, so you do have to park there, or you can take a Bus. The Buses (When I've used them) are pretty reliable, clean and nice. Buses start running to the parks an hour before opening and probably 90 minutes after closing. Buses run on average every 15-20 minutes, at each park you will find Bus Stations for almost every point of interest at the WDW Resort What the MK Bus Station looks like Magic Kingdom Bus Depot However if you do park in Disney Parking lots, you get to take the Tram (which looks really cool...) (The Disneyland ones look even cooler...)
  12. The Final Scene was a room that consisted of a Catwalk some leaky pipes a Metal wall, and a Siren/Speaker...(From what I understand you are in a Submarine). You'd wait a while to go in, and once about 20 or so people were in there the door would shut and a little announcment would play, it said something along the lines of "Thank you for visiting, we are now taking you to the surface." The Siren went off and the pipe gushed out water, the metal wall pushed in a bit (Either the Sub is flooding...or you were in the room where they let in the water) After 45 seconds, doors behind you would open up and you left. Nothing too great, but I liked that they at least tried to give a storyline to a Carnival ride. Noah's Ark will always hold a place for being my first Historical (WTF) walk through ride.
  13. 11/20 Seems to be the average that most people are getting. I wrote down some park names that I need to research now! Very Interesting like usual!
  14. This P.O.S Article not only disgraced the New York Times....but made it to the Travel section of my local paper as well. I'm sure the reporter did a TON of research.....
  15. Wait... I have a credit less than 5 miles from my home and I didn't know about it?!?! I drive by Celebration Station at least a couple times a week going home from work! Well... CRAP! I'm going to have to do something about that soon! Maybe next week after I get paid if the weather cooperates. Oh and the name of the movie that's coming out about Winter the dolphin is actually called "Dolphin's Tale'. Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick, Jr, Ashley Judd & Kris Kristofferson are all in it. A lot of the movie was filmed here in Clearwater. And it comes out September 23rd, not next year. I'd like a full trip report of Minor Mike! Thankfully I got that credit as a kid....so I never had to whore it. (I would totally be up for going...but I work all week )
  16. I'd take the credit whoring route and get the Credit at Lowry Park! (It really is a great zoo!) The Dali Museum is a great spot for a few hours-However it is VERY Expensive, and while in depth- It feels like there should be more. If you REALLY REALLY want another credit.....may I suggest Celebration Station Clearwater- http://www.celebrationstation.com/index.php?location_id=2&section_id=1&PHPSESSID=4a3d9b41fd16a8be2e338749b08d9ddc (They have a Minor Mike....) Clearwater Marine Aquarium is cheap and has Winter the Dolphin (She was rescued, she doesn't have a tail) Really Inspiring, Plus a Movie called Winters Tail is coming out next year! http://www.seewinter.com/ Little Plug for where I Volunteer.....http://www.brookercreekpreserve.org/ Really Relaxing and a great place. (We have Free Guided Hikes in the Morning) (I'm there on Saturdays) We also have Musuem Quality Exhibits. And there is always the Beach! Honeymoon Island is really great! -Zach (If you have any questions about the Tampa feel free to PM them to me! I've lived here my whole life!)
  17. NEW CREDIT! (Dear Legoland, Please do not Overbrake the Wilde Maus)
  18. WOOHOO! I won! Can't wait to wear my new Big Mike Road Show shirt! Thanks Big Mike!
  19. I was at the park Sunday. I have a few storys (And Later pictures to share) I seriously hate Brazilian tour groups now, There was one group that was entering the line for Cheetah Hunt in the worst way, Clumps of 20-40 people at a time. I end up between to huge groups (With another family in front of me). The whole 90 minutes, they kept trying to cut me (The ones behind me) I politely tried to tell them that if I let one of them cut, I would have to let all of them cut....I wasn't really prepared to wait another 10 minutes in line, nor do I think thats accaptable for anyone to cut. (I'm also thinking at this point that they want to jump me) Finally I'm on the train, All of the gates are occupied by the group, As the trains begins to move, they all point at me and give me the finger.... Yeah, Fun. In other news, Cheetah Hunt is going slower than it was a month ago The first turn is taken at a very very slow speed....The launch isn't as forceful either. There was a problem later in the day, when a train got stuck on the third brake run. (Good time to be in the Rhino Rally area, as I was) I do have a few pictures, which I will post later. I wore my Rhino Rally Polo to the park, and decided to go for a ride on Rhino Rally. I was talking to the ride ops for a good 30 minutes. Rhino Rally will be getting an expansion! The announcment is currently slated for August! Rhino Rally turned out to be one of the highlights of the day, I had an awesome driver! I was navigator, and I chimed right in with my own jokes (Even teaching the driver a few new ones), at the end of the ride I was dubbed Rhino Rally's biggest fan..... Pictures will be up soon. (Just a few shots) EDIT- I changed my signature to reflect my new position!
  20. No Actually they named it after me! The new area looks great! Fresh, I'm really impressed by what Six Flags has done here! I would love to see some more pictures of the pre-show, themeing of the area and the flats! Great job Six Flags and Intamin! Congrats on getting the title of most Rollercoasters too! -Zach (Zac-Spin) F
  21. I just finished my second week as an Engineering Intern at VLOC-(Virgo lightning Optical Corporation) I work in the UV Filter Growth area. (Translation for non-engineers/chemists) I make Cyrstals for Lasers! It is really interesting, My boss believes in not making Interns do stupid tasks (AKA- Running Errands) so I get to learn the processes and gain valuable learning experience. Oh and I get paid too!
  22. I recently waited in the line for Cheetah Hunt.... The sign posted 90 minutes, The line moved really fast and I enjoyed talking to the people around me. The ride broke down several times, but it really wasn't too bad. (Review of the ride to come later.....) As for my second time around the sign posted about 70 mins. About 5 minutes in the ride had a breakdown. The line kept on moving the whole time (The idiots that were leaving) The ride was down for a good 45 minutes (They had to replace a tire in the station. (I was actually standing near that area,so I got to watch!) They handed out water when we got to the front of the line. (Thank you so much BGT!) The ride operators also made an announcment thanking everyone for being so patient (I didn't hear a single boo) Now for the real problem with Cheetah Hunt! The line moves fast, the operators move at an above decent speed, However, people are idiots....YOU ARE GOING ON A LAUNCHED COASTER!!!!!!! WHY ARE YOU WEARING A HAT!!!!!! However instead of taking there belongings off, they sit down and struggle to get buckled, then causing them to have to reset the restraints. This happens ALOT, they really need to make sure people know this before they get on the ride. When you have EVERY train stacking (In the hot sun, no less) you really need to enforce a new policy. Capacity would shoot up! It also seems that the restraints are a tad bit confusing to the GP, maybe a video showing how to load or a diagram in the line would help! Thats the Cheetah Hunt Line Review....The ride review will come soon. It was good. (All I'm saying for now)
  23. I love the seemingly random Wendy's sign thrown in! Also whats up with the backseat of a car, near the bathroom. I mean I have a theory....but....
