As for Capacity concerns: When I visited Kennywood when Skyrocket first opened I was surprised to see only 2 trains. (Now I didn't have to wait in line) but, the PR Director of Kennywood said they never get a line above 90 Minutes. Skyrocket is considerbly longer than this ride, and the cars are the same, so their shouldn't be too much of a problem.

This is really the surprise announcement of the day! I don't think anyone was expecting this at all. I'm also surprised at this line: It looked like a Maurer Sohne to me at first glance, I'm very interested to see how Premier builds this ride! It looks very unique.

Wow, great addition for SFGAm. This whole Six Flags "Every Park gets something". Is a great idea, and to see major additions like coasters going to some of these parks is great! That being said I'm really looking forward to seeing and eventually riding it. The flythrough looks like on of the coolest parts, I think the theming has potential.

Starting off with regular trains- Walt Disney World Railroad Logo The Walt Disney World Railroad Trains are absolutely beautiful. The Engines themselves are so well maintained and really look great running around the Magic Kingdom! (Now technically if you saying trains....Monorails should count, but that woud be another post) -Zach

The Cheetah Hunt/Intamin restraints confuse a ton of people! You have to pull down the restraint, then the buckle is pretty odd looking. I even did a double take when I saw it. Those restraints defiantly slow down load cycles.

Legoland Florida is offering lifetime passes. A bit steep, however I'd imagine in the long run it would be worth it. Disney at one time experimented with selling Lifetime passes. It was quite a long time ago. However based on the yearly ticket increases that they implement every year. If you ever had the chance to buy one, you probably have saved a TON of money.

I can never get enough photos of this park! It looks great! Also, that new hotel. Looks very simular to some of Disney's Hotels. Its a mix between: Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Disney's Yacht Club Resort, but it looks very nice! I guess Green Lantern wasn't running to great that day. I had rode Green Lantern a week before and I found it to be a really good ride. (It was my first B&M Stand-up) I rode back row and had no problems. Great pictures! -Zach

While it isn't "NEW" (I think of it like Six Flags moving a coaster and calling it "NEW") Disney took a little while on this, considering the accident happened 3 years ago. (Even with not having the whole legal thing settled) However I think its clear that Disney World may not be ready for newer monorail trains yet . Especially if they spent money on reconstructing the monorails.

This looks like a nice little park. It seems like it is in need of another "Anchor" attraction, that there wouldn't really be enough to do. I do like the theme. Are these parks based on a franchise? (To me kinda look likes a Tinkerbell Fairy land type theme.) Great pictures! Can't wait to see more of these little parks from Italy. -Zach

The effort put into the recreation of this Carousel is amazing! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the correct term for this project should be Merry-go-Round. So I think Carousel is only used when you are referring to a ride with Horses only. Merry-go-round would be the term than encompasses all the animals! I can't wait to see the finished product!

Just saw Captain America- The First Avenger Good movie! A few issues with it... 1.The Historical inaccuracies of the integration of the troops. 2.Captain America wasn't fighting in WW2, he was fighting his own little battle that had nothing to do with the Nazi's....I really didn't get that part. The Nazi party was pretty much eliminated as the "enemy" very early and the new Villain became Hydra wich the film the shifted focus too. 3.The ending was preparing you for the sequel, if felt a tad bit incomplete. The Villain didn't really die (and wasn't very strong as a character in my opinion). 4.1941 World's Fair Scene: COMPLETELY WRONG! The whole scene is based on the 1964 World's Fair! The Unisphere is shown, that was the centerpiece of the 1964 Worlds Fair and wasn't built at that time, the monorail running around the scene is also from the 1964 worlds fair! (In fact there wasn't even a Monorail at the 1941 Fair). - NOW as for why this was done, my theory- Disney was involved with this film, Stark Expo is clearly based on Progressland (one of Pavilions Disney' created for the 1964 World's Fair) (There even is a little theme song that is clearly based on those pavilions, that they sing for Captain America later in the movie) Anyway, Progresslands main ride Carousel of Progress ended up at Disneyland. Eventually it was moved to Florida! (and its my favorite ride of all time) The building at Disneyland is still there and was home to "America Sings" (Go ask your parents or a fellow Disney geek about that one ) The building is now home to Innovations, Disney "Leaked" concepts for a Stark Expo ride/exhibit a while back. Walt Disney Imagineering confirmed this was a test. I think this part of the film is Disney really exploring this concept of re-doing Innovations at Disneyland with Stark Expo. Disney's D23 Expo is coming up in the next few weeks.I think it would be no stretch to see a Stark Expo at Disneyland to promote the new avengers film. (I'm hoping if it is built....it will reflect on the 1964...er 1941 Stark Expo that was portrayed! It'd be fun to see Disney go back to those roots!) Disney/Marvel and Paramount did a great job. If this is any indication of how Disney is going to use Marvel we are in for some good content. Personally I'm not very interested in seeing the next Disney/Marvel film THE AVENGERS....but we'll see!

From everything Ive ever heard about possible monorail expansion it's entirely a financial factor and would be incredibly expensive to add monorail to the Studios and Minimal Kingdom. While I working there I spoke to some engineers from transportation department and they mentioned the idea of a light rail train from the TTC to Animal Kingdom has been discussed and could be a possibility in the future but the cost of expanding the monorail would be astronomical. I remember hearing figure somewhere on the order of 100 Million dollars per mile? That may not be right but it's what I remember. Way less than $100 Million a mile. The Travel channel estimated about 1 Million per mile back in 2005. I think that the whole system should be rebuilt from scratch,my idea Have a couple GIANT Parking garages in a central location, then have a HUGE Transportation center with monorail service to each park (and buses and ferrys and trams...)

Valid Media Credentials, Prove to the park that you have good reporting skills and that you will be able to properly distribute your stories. It's not something (even as a hobby) to be taken lightly. I would only suggest following through with this if you are very serious about reporting. Looking for a free ticket and being the first to ride is (IMO) just wrong. If you are 100% serious, contact some smaller parks and work with them first, then work your way up. Good Luck

No. Seconded. They need a whole new fleet from scratch. Disneyland's aren't designed to handle the level of traffic WDW's do - for example, Disneyland's trains only have doors on one side. While Disneyland's is an attraction first and a transportation system second, WDW's is the other way around. I would assume that if we got new monorails (Probably under the name of that) they would be dramatically different (Built for moving crowds), I would like to see a simular look however, I think the Disneyland Monorails look very sleek!
