I don't how I left it out when I was thinking of it, but yes I think it maybe some midway overhauling in the county fair section or even along the area of where Cobra is the RFD section. As for Vortex it is a stretch to think it will happen this year considering CA is "suppose" to convert their's for 2017. -

Carowinds flyers over KD flyers? Whoa buddy I know it's hot out but you have just crossed the line. KD flyers suck balls lol. It's a Larson model that you cant even snap and if so teach me please. -

WHETT!!!!!!!!??? You dont like flyers?? One of the only flyers you willing snap with no punishment at that? Also Peanut Pirates is a fun little flat then there's Plantz vs Zombie, Southern Star, Windseeker, Scambler, Screamweaver (enterprise), Drop Tower, and the Sky Tower. If those arent you cup of tea then yea you'll be over it quickly. The flume was removed due to it's leaky fiberglass and Intimadator, but I agree we need another one for those who are not into water parks. -

I love the show myself and saw it at KD two weeks ago. I feel it is a big step in live entertainment. To me it's nothing "new" being Carowinds already have a similar show during the Haunt season in the county fair section. Just can't remember the name of it. They did everything minus the bicycle act. It was more focused on the hula-hoop trampoline and the acrobat in the air scenes. Still love it tho. I'm just now ready for 2017 with these new flats coming. Lol -

It really depends on the attendant working at the time. All the coaster generally no longer have preferred seating especially on heavy days. With Fury in order to sit wherever you want it have to literally be a walk on type day. On heavier days most time they will say policy is there are no preferred seating. Some are rude and just tell you no then what lane to go to even if you want say the last row(8) but the put you in the row ahead (7) they will still say no lane 7 please and thank you. The sea from front to back so it sucks if your the type to get right back in line as you may end up in the same row or a row ahead or one back vs a to talk different part of the train. -

This happens at Carowinds in Charlotte. Every year on the 4th Sunday of June BMW rents out the park for the company picnic. Also about the dining plan, we have the same issue at Carowinds with Chickies and Petes. The cheesesteak is like 3-3.5in long. They just added Panda Express and Chick-fil-A to ours but you get the most food in the cafeteria they built 2yrs ago. -

Went to the park yesturday and got to ride LR!!! It was around 5:45pm and they were only letting in groups of 35 or 40 at a time. So the line was very deceiving. Thinking it could be a 2.5hr wait when it's not at all. This damn ride is freaking amazing the launch is not aggressive at all but still hauls ass up the hill and Dolly's boob section is life especially the plummet into the valley. There's no part of this ride that you remain in your seat. This thing hauls ass and maintains speed throughout the entire course. That quadruple down is my favorite part. I did feel bad for those who were waiting still, we were the last riders for the day it was 6:05pm the park closed st 7pm but the decided to close the ride. It was open for only 3 or 4 hours. -

Raptor have the same strobe as Fury325 which is bright and very directional. Valravn also have the same seat locking monitor screen as does Fury325. I'm thinking it's something that CF will be rolling out on all of the modern coasters or at least the new ones as they are being built. Valravn looks amazing. -

The one at CW is the only park model operating. All the other modals are for fairs and carnivals. I've ridden the fair versions which of course like any other fair ride, out out control, the carnies just have no regard for g-forces and I love everything about it. lol I've heard the CW ride is slightly intense but not as intense as how the carnies run them. -

I have a feeling it's going to be like the one at the sister park California Great America pictured below. The only difference would be the name since Carowinds already have a ride called Peanuts Pirates. I am praying very hard that they do not place it in Planet Snoopy only because I dont see it as a kid's ride but a high thrill ride like at the fairs and carnivals. I just have a wierd feeling the speed will be controlled and horridly slowed down to accommodate a lower height restriction as the one at CGA. Hopefully they prove me wrong. -

^ Yes they all will be installed for the 2017 season. Cedar Fair have been aggressively expanding Carowinds with multiple attractions and infrastructure over the past 3 years now. I feel like Carowinds still may have something up their sleeve tho, however 5 rides is a pretty healthy expansion. -

I absolutely hate the Charleston region food. I lived in Charleston for almost 10yrs before moving to Charlotte and learned a lot about their cuisine from my family. That is NOT how shrimp and grits look . The shrimp is supposed to be sauteed with onions garlic and bell peppers in a gravy created from the dripping on the bottom of the pan then placed on top of butter grits. Smh i just get mad every time I see it -

Snapping is caused by the cables slacking due to quick motions of the vehicle...so once you've gotten the hang of operating a scooter it'll be easy to accomplish. It's all in the feel of how the wind is going against the rudder for me. -

Well I can say Carowinds encourages snapping on the Woodstock Gliders. Yes it's in the kids Planet Snoopy section but we young adults and the teens can take over the ride quickly. Here's a vid from 2010 when everyone were snapping and the ride op got nervous, thinking the ride was going to break. lol [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] -

Yea you should be fine. Yes it may be cool out and it may rain but everything remains open unless there's a down pour, lightning or extremely high wind for Windseeker. So yea Windseeker maybe closed for the day. I'm taking my 5hr trip there from Charlotte myself on Saturday. -

Yea you shouldn't have a problem getting your pass do processed. Majority of Carowinds pass holders are repeats and renew online which takes the need to go and a pass processed away being the card we used is reactivated. Also a majority got them processed before or on the Season Pass Preview night. So you should be able to walk right in and out. Friday crowds will be light most likely, however as stated it may be an education day so many schools may be out that day just check the bus lot as you pull out of the parking toll booth. -

I will agree that every row on Fury is perfection, however if your looking for more floater airtime on the hills the back end is where you need to be and if your more into the ejector airtime the frontward seats especially the first row is where it's at and to the the pop of airtime thru the transition on the curves the left end seats on ever row is where you need to be IMO. Edit: Just got to the park and it's slammed today. Yup I'll just grab some food and leave. -

Well it looks like it's back to the short cycle. I'm wondering is it possible to have two ride cycles programmed for when the lines get longer they can switch to the shorter cycle?
