  1. I'm going to have to start colouring my hair. With TPR, you can have a great day at almost any park. I will say though, they guy who took my order at the hamburger stand didn't impress me. It was nice to have a short day after two long days at Knoebels and Hershey. Talon was definitely my favourite coaster there. I forgot to tuck my name tag in my shirt on Hydra and almost lost it on the jojo roll. While it wasn't very intense, it was certainly a unique layout. I definitely preferred Steel Force in the front. I came down hard on the air time hills in the back.
  2. So basically the owner, SFMM and CBS have all failed here. What a great world we live in.
  3. ^^ Poor kid. Toews must have felt so bad.
  4. Where's Prince Desmond? Save Teh Hippos!
  5. ^It was a bit hard on my legs, but no problems otherwise.
  6. ^ Sidewinder with the new restraints is actually not that bad. All the best to Hershey and to everyone affected by the flooding.
  7. GP can't do this! That was seriously awesome getting so close! I found it amusing how many items were dropped from the ride. There were phones, glasses, maps, hats, etc everywhere. You would think people would know better, but then again, most people there were American.
  8. Holy Crap! That picture definitely stands out.
  9. Yikes! The train was one of the highlights of the day for me when I visited in August. Definitely not nice to see that. Knowing Knoebels though, I'm sure they'll get everything going again once the flooding clears up.
  10. I just visited for the first time in August and was not disappointed. Definitely one of my favorite parks.
  11. http://themeparkreview.com/parks/pimages/Six_Flags_Great_Adventure/TPRs_Road_to_Cedar_Point_Tour_2011/great_adventure_117.jpg ...All clear. Dispatch! I was talking to a staff member during El Toro ERT and he mentioned turning the lights off. He said they would do everything they could for TPR, and they definitely did a lot for us that day. El Toro is seriously insane, Nitro was running great and Kingda Ka is something to behold. Overall, we had an amazing first day of the trip!
  12. I don't think I've ever seen a "normal" picture of TPDave.
  13. Unfortunately, it looks like we have more to add to the list. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=375297 Reports on twitter are saying that everyone on the main roster, plus 4 other players were on the team. That would include Demitra, Salei and coach Brad McCrimmon. My condolences to the friends and family of all those lost. EDIT: Former NHL Player Alexander Karpovtsev is an assistant coach with the team. Also there are reports that Colby Armstrong`s brother Riley may also have been on the plane. Information is pretty sketchy right now regarding this incident. EDIT: As per Red Wings blogger Mark Spizzirri: Some good news though. It was confirmed that Riley Armstrong was not on the flight. Also confirmed that Lokomotiv forward Alexander Galimov survived the crash.
  14. Oops, forgot a word there. But yes.
  15. Rolling Stone has unveiled their list of the top 10 songs of the 90's. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/photos/readers-poll-the-worst-songs-of-the-nineties-20110831 Edit: That should read, top 10 worst songs.
  16. Storm Runner was definitely my favorite coaster in the park. Lightning Racer was definitely good too.
  17. ^Working no problem now. Thanks!
  18. ^Yeah, me too. Is it just one color?
  19. ^ If that actually opens next year, I'm making another trip down.
  20. My 3 favorites as of now. 1. Knobels 2. Disney World 3. Kennywood
  21. Those parks definitely look like an interesting experience. I'd love to be able to take the TPR trip next year. And on a side note. I just hit 1000 posts!
  22. Deep fried butter might be the most unhealthy deep fried food I've seen yet. Nice pics.
