  1. I agree with this, there are some other coaster websites that I like, but one of the (many) reasons I like TPR best is because 95%+ of the posters are well-informed and knowledgeable, some of the other sites have intelligent people mixed in with GP and people that generally don't know what they're talking about. I'm just glad that I can read this site without having to deal with all the comments from the Facebook/YouTube idiots on every thread.
  2. Canada's Wonderland Martin's Fantasy Island Seabreeze Coney Island NYC Six Flags Great Adventure Morey's Piers Clementon Park Knoebels Hershey Park Dorney Park Kennywood Kings Island Jungle Jacks Landing (Columbus Zoo) Cedar Point
  3. Cornball Express at Indiana Beach.
  4. You'll be able to take the N or the Q on 7th Ave between 48th and 49th St's. All the transit info is here: http://www.mta.info/
  5. There is a bus that leaves from Newark Penn Station in the morning (Newark, New Jersey) and returns in the evening. I think it leaves at 10 from Newark putting you at Great Adventure by 11:30, and then leaves Great Adventure at 9:30 in the evening. I'm not 100% sure on that though. You could catch the train from New York Penn Station to Newark and catch the bus there. If you get a Flash Pass, you should be able to get everything done and have time for some re-rides. I don't know of any other options except for driving. Coney Island is super easy to get to by the subway. I believe the D, F, N, and Q trains all make their final stops there. Rye Playland is also not far away from the city. There may be some bus service there as well but I'm not sure.
  6. ^It looks the same from the outside. From our backstage tour, you could see it was mostly finished. It should be closer than Flying Turns.
  7. How much you want for that drawing?
  8. She needs premium dude! PREMIUM!......DUDE!
  9. With Wuhan nixing the Timberliners, and Holiday World getting Topper Track for Voyage, and assuming this is all true, that definitely makes me wonder if something is up with the Timberliners.
  10. "Ambitious" is one word to describe it. This could end up being the next Orlando Thrill Park, but we'll see.
  11. B&M definitely has their safety record going for them, and they have some great new stuff coming out next year like Leviathan and the new Wing Rider at Six Flags Great America. But when you look at the Mitch Hawker results, Intamin wipes the floor with B&M.
  12. at Miles and TP Dave! It's hard to say anything bad about this place. They have all kinds of classic flats run exceptionally well, and a couple really good coasters. That ERT session on Phoenix will be hard to top.
  13. As soon as it involves religion, especially one that gets a lot of bad press, your f***ed either way you look at it.
  14. Will it never end.... http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=374888 Wade was always loved in Toronto. He had probably the best sense of humor in the NHL. RIP Wade.
  15. You can get an Orlando Flex Ticket. The Plus ticket includes Seaworld, BGT and Universal. It also includes Aquatica and Wet N' Wild if you like Water Parks. http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-orlando/Book-Online/Tickets/Tourists/Multi-Park
  16. ^PNE Playland is located in Vancouver, BC, while Enchanted Village, which is now known as Wild Waves according to RCDB is located in the Seattle area. Playland - http://rcdb.com/4609.htm Wild Waves (Enchanted Village) - http://rcdb.com/4690.htm
  17. Hit the nail on the head. They could have put in something like a GCI Woodie, or that rumored B&M floorless, and that would have been great. But that would not have attracted people worldwide as much as a Giga would, even if it's kinda similar to Behemoth. Robb and Elissa are basing a possible trip next year off it. They probably would not have considered it for something smaller.
  18. You probably wouldn't be sharing these photos, because you'd probably be dead from multiple concussions. I was actually looking forward to an SLC for once, but I guess I should have known better.
  19. Anyone want to lend me about $8000 so I can do the full China Trip?
  20. I definitely agree with you that El Toro is freaking insane! It was without a doubt the scariest coaster I've ever ridden, but it's an incredible ride. Also, I think it was mentioned during our backstage tour that they still use the Chiller station for the Haunt event. It was awesome being able to get such great pictures.
  21. I got 100 on Millennium Force during the Road To Cedar Point trip.
  22. They really aren't bad little coasters. The mistake was in the marketing.
  23. Not a bad looking water park and has an interesting theme.
  24. If your interested in Roller Soaker, that will have to be done first. Otherwise skip it and go to Fahrenheit and Storm Runner. For some reason Comet gets a pretty long line so get that out of the way early too. Beyond that just work things through one at a time. Boomerang is obviously just one train so that could be done early as well. Edit: There is a Wild Mouse as well and as it has low capacity, you should probably do that right after Fahrenheit and Storm Runner.
  25. At this point, it looks like NYC may be the only major city to take a direct hit. It looks like it will be either a strong tropical storm or a borderline hurricane when it gets there. Definitely not something that you wish for but hopefully things aren't as bad as they could be.
