  1. That guide is older than I am! Very cool to see that!
  2. I also would recommend a TPR Trip. The California trip planned for next year seems right up your alley, and if you can combo it with the Texas/Midwest Trip, you'll end up at Cedar Point as well. If those aren't really an option for you and your shooting for this time of year, the Orlando parks may be an option for you. Disney World has it's own transport system and I believe there are shuttle services you may be able to use to get to Universal and Sea World. I also believe there is a shuttle to Busch Tampa from Sea World. Keep in mind though, this time of year is Hurricane Season in the Atlantic so problems are not out of the question.
  3. Good stuff so far. Wish I could have been there.
  4. I say we have a bonfire Yeah, I would have flown to Cinci to burn that thing down!
  5. Great news for them. Knowing Waldameer, they will use every inch of that 7 acres.
  6. ^ I can't imagine a problem with that. They will send you an email with all the information and you just need to bring it to the Season Pass processing center. I would make sure to buy it from the park that you will be processing the pass at. Don't buy from Kings Dominion and try to process at Cedar Point as I believe that may cause some issues.
  7. It's definitely greed, but at the same time, NHL players don't make anywhere near some players in other sports. Look at Albert Pujols for example, or Peyton Manning, and the NFL season is only 16 games long.
  8. New York already has the Empire State Building, Top Of The Rock, Statue of Liberty, and when finished, the Freedom Tower. Why they would need to spend millions of dollars to put an observation wheel in Staten Island is beyond me.
  9. I'm going to take a wild stab at it. Mindbender at West Edmonton Mall.
  10. This is true. However, Bettman is the comissioner of the NHL, not the NHL "owners association". He should be looking after the best interests of both sides or there should at least be an impartial mediator. This is just freaking ridiculous. Interesting tweet I read last night "The current CBA worked perfectly fine when this was a $2Billion Business..but the NHL is now a $3B biz. So it's our fault for EVERYTHING "
  11. I miss New York! I went through the same thing at Chocolate World at Hershey Park last year. I would have bought lots of chocolate if it wouldn't have all melted. Definitely sucks!
  12. I would personally find it pretty ridiculous to not serve alcohol at a high end french restaurant like this, even though its at MK.
  13. Nice pics. Were they still doing the visual scan?
  14. 305 at 12 and Leviathan at 21. Sorry Cedar Point, but both those coasters easily trump Millennium Force IMO.
  15. Visiting parks in Canada is very much the same as it is in the US. It isn't a "big production" as you might be worried about. Leviathan and Behemoth are two completely different, world class B&M's, and Vortex is a very good arrow suspended coaster. Beyond that most of their coasters are average at best. The two major woodies are very rough. The park is however, very pretty, and Toronto is a nice city, beyond the sub par public transportation.
  16. Except for bash events, the ERT is limited to those on the tour. On Road to Cedar Point last year, that was one bus with just over 50 people so it is much more intimate. I was able to ride Maverick in the back seat for most of the ERT session without getting out.
  17. Nice pics! Definitely agree with you about Grizzly, it's awful. Busch Gardens is just a beautiful park. Loch Ness Monster is easily the best Arrow I've ridden up to this point.
  18. In terms of Dorney, Talon is one of the better B&M inverts I've ridden, and Hydra is a very unique floorless, but as a park, it's not really very unique. Your schedule is already very full, so I'd probably pass on it.
  19. Three RMC monsters on one trip?!?! Sign me up!!
  20. They always seem to do well when the have events like that. Definitely good to hear. Hope to hear more good news like this. The park was dead when I was there on a Saturday in June.
  21. This certainly seems more reasonable than some of the other ideas or plans for parks or entertainment complexes I've seen. I guess we will have to see if it fits in with the casinos and golf courses in the area.
  22. Driving like that is not fun. I got caught in the Friday night rush hour out of DC the night before East Coast Bash. At least you were able to get your rides in though. The crowds looked insane!
  23. I didn't know Wonderworks existed in China! http://www.wonderworksonline.com/
  24. If I can still pick, I will select the St Louis Blues.
