  1. These are all great, but this one takes the cake!
  2. Nice pics. I'd certainly love to visit a place like this if the opportunity presents itself.
  3. I think it's already tied to a tree, but the shooter is just a terrible shot.
  4. Awful ride, awful park, but a great photo.
  5. Agreed! It builds you up for excitement, and then it just ends.
  6. Just read this...http://news.yahoo.com/coast-guard-disabled-cruise-ship-moving-again-203257767.html I'd be less surprised to see people jumping from the ship than I would to see people staying on that ship.
  7. Great photos. As far as Blazing Fury goes, I think I remember reading they now have magnetic brakes where the splash pool was and the water apparently doesn't go well with the brakes so it's now a dry ride.
  8. With apologies to "imawesome1124". [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  9. All good things must come to an end. Thanks for the great reports!
  10. I seriously lol'd when the sheep fell from the coaster!
  11. I got a surprise in the mail today!!! There were actually 3 mints, but I couldn't wait. The DVD happened to be Coasters Expedition Volume 7.
  12. That's only interesting to me because IIRC, the reason SFDK transferred Shouka to Sea World was because in the U.S. there was a rule against having a killer whale on its own. As far as the rest of the allegations? Definitely horrible if true, but one re-occuring theme seems to be bitter ex-employees. Not saying the allegations aren't true, but it seems odd that all these trainers would put up with the horrible treatment for so long before suddenly seeing the light. Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that while keeping a killer whale alone is frowned upon, there isn't any law in Canada against that. In any case I would say there is definitely something 'fishy' going on here. I'll see myself out now.
  13. Some more news has surfaced over the last couple weeks. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1314938--marineland-ordered-to-stop-burying-animals-on-site http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1317233--ospca-orders-marineland-overhaul http://www.niagarathisweek.com/news/article/1567724--marineland-sues-animal-rights-activist http://www.wellandtribune.ca/2013/01/29/ex-marineland-employee-files-counterclaim
  14. [youtu_be]http://youtu.be/RE0Y5VmkILQ[/youtu_be] ...and pretty much anything from Ocarina Of Time [youtu_be] [/youtu_be][youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  15. Just in case you guys have been under a rock.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxU7eNnptA8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0FCeKqfv7Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xURx7-3uuew
  16. "Your best? Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and f*** the prom queen."
  17. ^ From what has transpired over the last couple years, with Ed Hart not going away, it definitely seems to be a personal quest for him to get this park re-opened. I guess he figures the business aspect of it isn't as important to him. As far as the state is concerned, it seems like they have nothing to lose here.
  18. Everyone says great things about Wild One. Maybe I caught it on a bad day. Not that I plan to go back to SFA.
  19. Very nice photos. Shame you missed Blue Streak, as that was a very nice surprise. Maverick is definitely the best coaster in the park.
  20. I bet you a million dollars that Harbaugh will win the Super Bowl.
  21. I find that the Six Flags Parks I've visited just don't offer a complete Theme Park Experience. There are things they do very well, like having a very good coaster collection at many of their parks, but when you have parks like Six Flags America, where they have no shade, one train ops on every coaster, very average food at best, it doesn't help their image. In comparison, I would say a park like BGW offers a more full experience.
