I'm really looking forward to getting back to Cedar Point in a few weeks. Maverick alone is worth a visit. Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood is such a good ride too. It's short, but it's damn sweet.

Clowe and Filppula both got over 5 million+ a year on long term deals. WTF?!?! Makes me feel better about Clarkson at 5.25. Less than Grabovski was. Bozak at 4.2 is pretty reasonable too considering Weiss signed for almost 5 and Ribiero for 5.5.

Luongo is a consummate professional and he will be there at training camp and give it his best. He's still a good goaltender, and his teammates should have his back. I get that he's shocked. I would be too after everything that's happened over the last year. But once he has a chance to take it all in and relax, he'll be back.

The Leafs picked up Bolland today and I'm very happy with the trade. He played a big role in both of the Hawks cup wins.

Wow, it sounds like it might be ok to start holding my breath here. I can see T2 getting the new trains like at Morey's. I could see GCI or GG coming in to repair the Twins and putting Millennium Flyers or Timberliners on them. Whatever happens, it sounds like good news for the park.

Yeah, they definitely took a risk, but they didn't go overboard either. A 2nd rounder could end up being a pretty good player, or maybe not.

I like Frattin, but realistically he's a third liner at best. Bernier has the highest potential of everyone involved. I'm not sure the Leafs needed to make that trade but they didn't trade anything major away so I'm okay with it.

That funhouse queue is an awesome idea! Hopefully we see stuff like that here in the future.

That looks like it could be a really fun ride. Zamperla have really done a great job with the area and although I didn't really need an excuse to go back, this gives me one anyways.

For comparison, here's my pic of the sign from last year. What a huge difference! Glad to see them fixing things up where they can. Hopefully it's not all for nothing.

^The Haunt is an upcharge at CW. With Leviathan opening last year, I'm not surprised at all to see CW take the #1 spot for Cedar Fair.

Kennywood is one of my favourites too. I could go for some Potato Patch fries right about now.
