  1. ^Or the ride didn't know how to help people have fun.
  2. Zhongshan Park (China)
  3. Disneyland itself provided the setting for the big chase scene/finale of 40 Pounds of Trouble, a flick Tony Curtis made for Universal back in the early 1960s. Here's a long clip that shows how the park looked back then.
  4. ^There is, indeed. You can read all about coaster (and other ride) "cameos" there.
  5. Mephisto
  6. ^I've tried a number of Devil's Backbone beers and they've all been good.
  7. Devil's Backbone Danzig Baltic Porter Pretty good--tastes like coffee brewed in beer.
  8. Thanks for the snowy look at Ravine Flyer II. It's a great ride after the snow melts, too.
  9. Jack the Giant Killer (1962)
  10. Thanks for the look behind the scenes. I think the Dive Machines are B&M's best product, and I'm glad that Cedar Point is building one.
  11. Thanks for sharing the map, Chris. I like how this Magic Kingdom is going to be so different from the others.
  12. Sigh! Young Star Coaster--Chimelong Paradise
  13. Anchor Winter Wheat As I've said before, I'm not partial to wheat beers, but a few more like this could change my mind. It was very good, indeed.
  14. It's nice to see some of the work that you can't see at street level.
  15. But seriously, folks--this is the best advice. Simple and direct.
  16. It is epically funny that someone would want to take a FIEND to an amusement park. At least this moderator thinks so? So funny that I'm going to double post. You're not the only moderator who finds it amusing. "Asmodeus! I invoke thee to ride Firehawk and have a churro!"
  17. ^He was a "bad guy" jobber in the ring, but well liked and respected in the business, from what I've heard.
  18. Well, may as well mention the death of Iron Mike Sharpe, "Canada's Greatest Athlete." Here's a video with two dead professional wrestlers: Iron Mike and Rowdy Roddy Piper.
  19. Im pretty sure its going to be an immersive tunnel ride like King Kong. To be honest I would have no issue with a Vekoma Madhouse with insane theming even though 13 minutes would be serious excessive for it. I like the Mad House rides, too. Wish we had more in the U.S.
  20. I was afraid of that. I also think the Academy would give it best Picture, Director, and Supporting Actor and skip right over Leo. I'd give it the award for best cinematography, but that's about it.
  21. ^I think it would be wise to wait before starting a thread devoted to a new park project. We've seen quite a few come and go over the years. I imagine that we'll have a thread for it if the project actually "breaks ground."
