  1. Sorry to switch the topic, but I came across this video on my computer from about a year or two ago... As I was walking into Knott's I stopped for a moment to watch Ghostrider come around the turn, but it came really slow... and then... it just stopped... Anyone ever seen anything like this happen before? Funny thing was, later I saw two workers up there... trying to push the coaster over the edge!
  2. Oh Mr. Heart, I almost didn't see you! I assume yo would like to try the new attraction? Haha of course you would! Shot0172.bmp The building is quite impressive for a price tag a two million is it not? Shot0173.bmp I love how the towers appear as if they were off in the distance! Shot0174.bmp The new "Cupid Gardens" in the queue look fantastic! I actually had Disneyland call me abou hiring out some of my Garden staff, by with Magi Maelstrom needing to be completed, this came first. Shot0175.bmp Another beautiful addition to our park's collection of gardens. Shot0176.bmp Quite a tall building, it's basically a large facade since the ride is very skinny! Shot0177.bmp It's so detailed! Shot0178.bmp Oh, the front entrance is closed off due to construction, but we can use the back entrance. Shot0179.bmp We really tired to make it look like a palace, I think we did a terrific job! Shot0180.bmp Ah, here it is, the entrance blends right in doesn't it? Shot0181.bmp Here we are, Magi Malestrom! Shot0182.bmp The ride looks great! Anton has really outdone himself with this fantastic attraction! Shot0183.bmp I can't wait to get the feeling of weightlessness on these drops! Shot0184.bmp The floor has a very complex pattern! Shot0186.bmp This ride is pretty disorienting in the dark! Shot0187.bmp The roof has some great views that the public can't get! Shot0188.bmp The towers look fantastic! Shot0189.bmp The building gives a great view of the gardens and queue! Well I had better head out Mr. Heart, I have an important meeting with Anton about Kitanzi's Location!
  3. Hello Mr. Heart, Today is our Press Release for our expansion plans! Hello Everyone I would like to welcome you to Bell Gardens Amusement Park on this fine day. I am extremely pleased to be up here and announcing such a large project for our small, but profitable amusement park. With help from industry giant Scharwzkopf, we are opening three unique attractions over the next few years. This year, we see the addition of the high-flying, thrill seeking, Firework Flyer, which is an Enterprise attraction that will sent guests head over heels, and round and round. The addition of the Firework Plaza will make way for a Summer Night Time Show in 1974. Also for 1974, will be the addition of a very unique attraction, custom made from Schawrzkopf, Magi Maelstrom. This will be an indoor Magic Carpet ride that will disorient you and create feelings of weightlessness! The ride will have light and sound effects! And for our final purchase, we present to you: KITANZI A Triple Looping, first of it's kind ride! Kitanzi means loop in Swahili, and is sure to have guests coming back time and time again. The ride will be the last part of this massive expansion, and will feature it's own plaza, just over the railroad tracks. Now ladies and genteman, please enjoy the Firework Flyer! Shot0161.bmp This is going to be our first postcard picture! So perfect when put in this perspective. Shot0162.bmp Here is the land clearing for Magi Malestrom! Shot0163.bmp This ride looks fantastic! Shot0164.bmp I cannot wait to go for a "spin". Hahaha! Shot0165.bmp The queue goes right under the ride itself! Shot0166.bmp Just look at all the parts this ride has! Shot0167.bmp It's finished testing, why don't we ride! Shot0170.bmp The begining is quite fun! Shot0169.bmp But now we begin to rise! Shot0168.bmp This will be a hit!
  4. Once again, Robb, thank you so much for creating an easy to navigate Exchange!
  5. Is this possibly a Force One Model? The track looks very similar...
  6. Medusa - SFDK: The best floorless coaster out there... Intense, and has B&M's only Sea Serpent inversion(s). Coastersaurus - Legoland: one of the best kiddie coasters out there...pretty forceful turn around the lake.. Desert Storm - Castles and Coasters: WHY? Do people hate this ride? Great first Drop, two intense odd shaped loops, and only lap bars...yet people say it has head banging..it's a great ride. As well a Patriot.
  7. When I try to upload a park to the exchange (RCT3), it says the file type is invalid. Is there a specific type of file (besides current form) it needs to be converted into before uploading, if so, where can I get the conversion software (if not already in the computer). Thanks for this awesome forum, and thanks for the help in advance! -SCC
  8. Thank you so much for making this into a reality Robb! Many Thanks! EDIT: Having Problems uploading a RCT3 Park, can suggestions?
  9. The only way to make the speed seem correct on a scale model like that would be to make it into a powered coaster with enough friction that you could accurately create what the ride would be like... Though I wouldn't do that, too time consuming, this model alone is immpressive, and I'm sure the ammount of time spent on it was a well. I honestly like the looks of this. It appears the transitions from one movement to another are smooth, unlike X2's which are quite jerky. Kepp up the good work!
  10. Coaster Dynamix Scorpion Model GoldenEye 007 Wii + Golden Classic Controller Bundle ITunes Gift Cards Waterproof Case For a Flip video camera Club TPR Membership
  11. This ride is currently under construction and will open in the spring of 73'.
  12. Hello Mr. Heart, so good to see you! I have great news! We are removing the slide in order to expand further into the land we own. The several year expansion will begin next year with the addition of a new flat ride. We made a deal with a company, and they will be building several flats rides and possibly a roller coaster over the next few years! Shot0137.bmp Today we've had record crowds! Shot0138.bmp Guests are loving Thunder Racer, I hope to see it become a park icon for many decades! Shot0139.bmp Cloud Wheel still dominates this side of the park. You can tell how busy it is today by looking a the line for Tea Party! Shot0140.bmp Just look at the line for the slide! Everyone wants to ride it one last time before it's gone for good! Shot0141.bmp Quite a line! Shot0142.bmp Quite a neat attraction, but alas, nothing lasts forever... Shot0143.bmp Good bye Spiral Slide! Shot0144.bmp Fireball is quite busy as well, there must be lots of thrill seekers at the park today! Shot0145.bmp A ride on Thuder Racer is a good way to end our first event, and highest attendance ever! Shot0146.bmp Red is ahead! Shot0147.bmp There're pulling even futher ahead! Shot0148.bmp We're heading for the final turn! Shot0149.bmp Who is going to win? Shot0150.bmp Well it's a tie! It was nice seeing you again Mr. Heart, Talk to you again at the press confrence in January!
  13. Well, that nice little World of Thrills park I showed off now is a corrupted file... Fortunately, it was backed up on my flash drive..... Which is currently at our house in NorCal.. So World of Thrills is on hold for a while... Don't get the feeling I'm going to do this too often, but I am doing a CS project. A Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster Named Barnstormer: Shot0134.bmp Over view of the ride, this is the best spining coaster I've made. Shot0135.bmp This spiral section has the most insane spining I've ever seen in RCT3...wait till you see the POV! Shot0136.bmp The front of the ride...I'm only using CS for supports and a CFR for the ride vehicle.
  14. Just a suggestion, but I think you should ditch the little airtime hill right before the brakes, it make the brakes look un-naturally short. Also, I think you should run a three train block system for higher capacity. All and all, it looks good so far! It may just be me, but I feel that this park needs a boomerang, probably because of it's limited space.
  15. http://www.wftv.com/slideshow/25759223/detail.htmlindex.html?currentSlide=6&taf=orlc The middle screen shot on the page above shows what I believe to be a Perilous Plunge clone; I'm surprised any park would want one of those...
  16. Here's my Cali line up speculation...I'm going by some logic here. MACK Launcher: Either SeaWorld, or Discovery Kingdom will get this. I'd love Reef Runner to become a reality...and yes, most likely if it's built, I see an indoor section or the whole this enclosed (due to noise complaints). SFDK could get this for a pretty obvious reason; the last time they had a immense coaster project (no not THBS and V2, not counting Zonga) was Medusa, almost ten years ago, and I can see a MACK launcher fitting perfectly in the atmosphere of SFDK. Personally I'm leaning towards Sea World because of the time the launcher is to be installed; 2014 was the reported year that the Project Reef Runner had been moved back to, and also when the launcher is to be installed. Mega Coaster (Intamin or B&M): Knott's is getting one or the other possibly. I agree with the above post, Knott's has enough launchers as it is. At this point I'm leaning a little more towards B&M because of Silver Bullet. Plus with Intamin Cable fiasco last year, I just can't see them going to Intamin...but if they liked how I305 turned out, it's possible that they'd go to Intamin. For now I'd lable this one Speculation. Drop Tower???: Rumored SFMM could possibly get a drop tower in a year or two, I doubt this highly, but, it's SFMM so anything could happen. I doubt this because of their capacity; unless they do an S&S combo tower, it just wouldn't be able to hold up to the crowds SFMM pulls in.
  17. Just one quick update to World Of Thrills The RF II inspired coaster has been named: PHANTOM Inspired by a SoCal, and NorCal coaster, can you guess the two? Shot0133.bmp Take The Bridge/Tunnel!
  18. There are several things SFMM is in dire need of: FLATS: It's been said 1,000,000 times before, but I'll say it again. CAPACITY: The ride ops at SFMM are some of the worst I've ever seen...slowing down rides, and cutting their capacity (specifically Tatsu) Tower Ride: They need a drop tower....plain and simple.
  19. I found an unoffical video made in No Limits that presents what the ride would have been like....such a shame, the ride would have been a fantastic addition... I'm not certain, but I believe the ride was cancled due to the neighbors whinning about the noise the ride would create.... Heh, people complain about SFA getting shafted, look at GCA, the last new thing was Firefall, a used Top Spin from GL in 2008....
  20. This has been in the works for about two months, and won't be around for a while, I just thought I'd post some raw screens from: WORLD OF THRILLS Shot0130.bmp GCI, Ravine Flyer II style over a path.... Shot0131.bmp Overview of the park so far, completely CS free... Shot0132.bmp The S&S Double Tower, one side launching, the other side dropping... Hope you enjoyed the preview pics!
  21. I'm probably out, I have no time to work on it....of I can, I will TRY to finish my insane design; I I cannot, I'll post the awesome screens..
  22. Hello Mr. Heart, how are you? Good? Great! Why don't we begin our tour? Shot0116.bmp I will never tire of such a simple, yet attractive entrance! Shot0122.bmp The pre-lift has a decent amount of speed, but still gives riders time to look at what is coming. Shot0123.bmp There they go, around the first turn! Red appears to be leading! Shot0124.bmp So majestic, so simple, so amazing. This coaster is a work of art to me Mr. Heart. Shot0125.bmp Here they come! Neck and neck! Shot0126.bmp Red is in the lead again! Shot0127.bmp The final turnaround, who will win? Shot0128.bmp It's a tie! Thanks for joining me Mr. Heart, until next time!
  23. This is really sad, I love seeing bizarre parks like this on TPR.... Hearing this I promptly searched the threads, and found this video: So this is where the 'rug' jokes come from! Turn something like this into a park, people would line up for miles!
  24. It's been pretty much confirmed by Huss on their website, an Airboat is coming to Sea World San Diego: http://www.hussrides.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=122&Itemid=186
  25. I hope something like that happens, but PLEASE don't make it Knotts that gets the Mack Launcher! I mean, come one, they have 1/2 of SoCal's launchers all ready! Three! An I305 For Knott's.....is something that crazy even possible? Yes. Do they have the $$$? Probably. The only thing I wonder is...where would the ride start? What area of the park? And what theming could possibly be given to such a crazy coaster??? I guess, we'll have to find out! -SoCal "Hopes for an Intamin" Coasters
