  1. The first shot has to be the best! No seriously, that color choice for that train is just marvelous. Can't wait to get my hand on this park.
  2. Glad you changed the color because the brown before looked bad. love the color contrast on it now as well.
  3. So the transaction is indeed final, and plans to reopen the park by 1976 is still planned. The following is a list of rides and areas that will make thier way in during reconstruction pior to the grand opening on July 4th, 1976. Areas Calico mine town Boardwalk/ rolling 20's Rides Sky tower The Corkscrew Calico Railroad Bumper Cars Calico Mine ride Timber Mountian Log Ride These are the only plans that we know of as well, so let the reconstruction begin!
  4. Unforentually I think the RCT3 community is not as active, but what you got here is nice. El Furioso looks nice, and the park is decent. Have you tried covering your stations more? I think it would help as I wouldn't want to wait in a line that has no shading. lol Great work so far, though.
  5. I still admire that entrance building. Let's hope it's not as family oriented as Disney, though.
  6. If I recall, though, I think you can use 8 cars' object manipulation option to delete the items as well. I'm not sure about it, but I'll give it a try next time it happens to me as I get them a lot as well.
  7. And just so I don't leave you hanging either, here is a leaked concept piece:
  8. Find the same item that is glitching, and place it exactly where it is. Right click a bunch of times and it should dissapear.
  9. I wasn't saying it wasn't unrealistic, I was just trying to mention the impact that guest could feel. If the trains are not going in there fast, I can then understand it being a nice element, but from the height I see at the MCBR, it just seems like it would be going into those inversions fast. It was just stupid nit picking on my end, and the way I see it now, the way the coaster is built could serve the blueprint for the upcoming Arrow "mega loopers that are to come in the 1988 season or so, so that concept is nifty.
  10. I can do it for you. Just PM me the park with it exported so I can take care of it for you tonight.
  11. ^ It's inspired by it, but the layout is diffrent. The inspiration for this park is much like Watkins woods inspiration--Geauga lake, and you can only do so much with the Big Dipper layout considering it was a typical Miller layout at the time. Rest assure, however, I'm trying my best to stay away from Watkins Woods/ CP6's work as possible.
  12. Allen Town, Pennsylvania You never do find old, quaint parks now days because of the loss of history in senses. However in the city of Allen town, the citizens have seeked to restore the small park, Fellville, to its original state, but for now, it remains vacant. The park is open, but it’s not to the charm it has been in the past. Now, how about some history, yes? George Fellville founded this park in 1903 with the addition of Leap-the-Dips, an old classic side friction coaster. The park remained small, and the only other addition was Shooting Star, a John Miller classic built in 1925. At the time, it was the tallest in the world. However, the depression has hit, and not much activity has happened, then. Some flats have gone and go, but by 1970, the park as a whole was standing, but not operating. Is there any hope for this small town park? Leap-the-Dip, and all of it's glory. Shooting Star seems to be the popular attraction at the park at the time. Those are the only photos I could find, but it seems like attention will never come to this park. . .
  13. It should work fine on XP though because that's the ideal running system when RCT2 first came out. There is a set of trainers on page 13 in the offical RCT2 help thread. Sorry for all the problems. :/
  14. Personally I don't like the three corkscrews in a row, but the layout and the supports are well done. You have a nice start here, so keep at it. Edit: Also, Demon coasters were not part of any themepark besides the Marriot Chained parks. That's the only reason SixFlags would have one. Sorry, just a nerd spasam.
  15. Go into 8 cars, go to edit rides. From there check "make invisible permenant" Select the main color scheme and click okay. it should work. If not, I'll try and post a better picture for it.
  16. @ CCI All the pictures I have seen are showing improvement. Well done.
  17. ^ It looks a tad messy, but it does the job. and for your first building, it's not a bad attempt. Something I've been working on. Not ready for a full thread yet: Can you guess the coaster?
  18. There are a few options you can do for this. 1. using the "zero clearence" option in the Misc. tab on 8 cars is one way. You build the tram first, then, by using the zero clearence otion you can mask it over with the footpath of your choice. Sadly though, this option makes for major glitches. 2. I think there is scenery that loks like foot pathing, so if you can find that, dig a five fot hole under all the track, and place the path right under the track. That makes for an easy solution I guess. 3. Making the entire ride invisible, this can be done using this tutorial. Same principal really. This will teach you to also learn how to make entrance/ exit huts invisible: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=56930 Hope this helps out!
  19. Love that last screen. Really makes me jealous actually. Your work has drastically improved, and I hope to see this make it all the way!
  20. Wow, I forgot to add the most important no no rule then. You can't delete am invisible ride. you must make it undo the crooked house track to be able to delete it. Sorry to hear, though, because I know how much that stinks..
  21. Love the station. The prelift segment does seem long, but that's only because of the transfer area I suppose. Nice work there!
  22. If only that waterpark was working.... Still, I come back to this park for inspiration now because of it's pure simplict atmosphere. I think this is the perfect blend for a great park. Nice to see you around here agian.
  23. I thought I would bring this over as well. Agian Mastersax, I loved this, but at the same time I can see why the panel may have not enjoyed it as much as I did. To answer your question though: I say you do that. easy enough to follow and people can then see how much you're improving as well.
  24. exactly. Like the few comments on the ORG site said, We're not trying to derail this effort, but in fact we're trying to prove a point that The way this group is going around, this effort is more like two hobos on the street asking for spare change. You just can't sit behind the computer and expect the donations to come pouring in. All we have done so far is shown the group that their envision was two big for their eyes, and their Ethos played more a role in this rather than their logos.
  25. Keep in mind though that Halloween this year is also on a weekend, so that may spruce some more energy. Also, the recent rain here has also been scaring people away, from what my friends say, though.
