Miccosukee Park [RCT3]
djbrcace1234 replied to 808Freq's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Hopefully it will be a nice little park to visit. -
I know which ones you're talking about Braztaz, but I don't need them. I like using the 4D coaster track as the lift hill cat walks because they glitch less this way. Anyways. . . After my anger towards myself for corrupting the file...agian, I took this as another chance to improve some coaster layouts as well. 1 hour later, and I have made a Slightly diffrent verison of Viper, a Defunct rollercoaster at Six Flags Great Adventure. Picture is still a work in progress: Nothing new is coming for awhile, But I shall not let my stupid mistake shutter this park.

There are a few ways to do this. all three require 8 cars. First build the coaster. second, if you want a "chain launch" make a chain that will act as the cable in a sense. In 8 cars choose the ride in the edit rides tab, and simply increase the speed of the chain. for just a power launch with no chain. go in 8 cars and change the operating mode to powerlaunch, and increase the speed accordinly. Last way. ( the way I prefer) combine both to make a more realistic launch. If you're having problems, I'll help out more. -

Someone would make bank if they installed a massive Escalator that climbed the top of Mount Everest. Then at the bottom, selling the shirt saying "I climbed Mount Everest, at a constant, slow pace." -

Very clean so far. Like that you made the entrance huts invisible, too. It makes for a great touch. I don't see how the transfer track is going to look though. Do you think you're up to zero clearence the transfer track over the main track? I think it would be a nice touch. Other than that I do see much Improvement in this park so far. Splendid job! -
No I was being stupid this time. I messed around with park dat and took out an item I thought I already deleted part of, and of course I delted more then one, so it will be harder for me to find them. I'll just start from where my last game is from. I know where everything is supposed to be, so it would take me maybe 5 hours to put everything where it needs to be. And mastersax, I was at 105 RCT years.

Still, it's looking nice. -
Main File is now corrupted. Not trying to be like Coupon here either. I have a back up, but It's 20 years off from where I was. This is the second time I would be doing this, so for now, I don't have the motivation to work on it. Maybe in december, when I actually have the time agian, you may see something from me.

I mean you can always go back and choose the items you want to use in the editor. The one thing I have now learn when making a park, try and build your buildings first, that way you have all the items you really want to use and save spots for future items you will need. But yes, Park dat is a life saver indeed. -

The only one I know that does not let you close a park is the objective like: Obtain 2000 guest in the park with a park rating never below 700. -

Only if the park is not a park that requires guest amount with a desire park rating to be substain. -

Tedious indeed. The only thing I hate with Non custom scenery is the lack of good roofs. That's the only thing I dislike about the game in that sense because you don't need custom items to make a still pretty sub par Park. -

This park is rather splendid! The only thing that bugs me is your main entrance right now takes you in only one direction. Maybe some kind of fountian in that area just as you enter the gates can help ease that out. -
I don't know if you could call Mailboomer a success as a major ride, but I understand that not putting anything there is a waste. When you have all this construction going on, you still need "filler rides," in my opinion, to secure a lengthy visit like Disney reaches out for. Call me the weird guy here, But I still don't see Mailboomer as all that ugly. The idea of the concept was to be one of those Mallet like carnival games, but they never showed it to really look like that. With better execution, it might have been a better success. And from a Guest's perspective, I highly doubt they cared that they could find an almost identical thrill over at Knott's--a ride is still a ride. No matter what people would still enjoy themselves, at least that is how I see it. I have to strongly agree, especially with the Monster INC. ride. The ride entrance looks more like a photograph back ground as Sulley usually stands out there for a photo opportunities. The fact also that those two attractions are built away in a corner, I can understand Guest not being aware of such attractions. However, I do know that there are signs up and around, and even the map does a pretty decent job at pointing out these attractions as well.
