RCT2 Lost Objdata Help Thread

My bigger mistake was most likley putting in too many custom rides. I must have missed them while trying to look for them. Never good with finding exported rides. >_ -

Okay, so I have it all set up. I could not find the Butterbeer type ride, nor a trokia-(Those I don't think are in the game.) I have added numerous other rides that I think would help out. But here. I hope this helps... Sixflagsbench.zip Exported rides.zip .... And works Edit: The Peep table is in the ? section of the scenery tab. I only found one good one, but no, Peeps can not sit on it, but there are "peeps" that sit on it. -

ThrillRider: Okay, so to make things easier for me, I found Ja227's Sixflags Over Georgia Recreation. If you don't know who this guy is, he is the one that made a bundle of Six Flags items, and he is also the creator of the 8 cars program. I'll delete the stuff on the map for you, and I will also include the custom rides you asked for. One question though, How big of a map do you want? -

^ Have you tried using the NE bench? http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=53557&start=120 Thrillrider: while trying to make you a bench, I some how corrupted the file. I have no idea how I did it, but all my progress on it has been lost. If you don't mind, I'll still do it, but I'm going to just send the files I think would be needed for such a park. Sorry for the incovience. -

I seriously don't know what I did, but I'm getting the loading flashing bar of death right now. Wheb trying to make you a bench, I did not realize I had over 10,000 items in my folder, so I cannot pyhsically make a bench. I can still zip up some files you want for your park, if you just want that, because right now I can't acsess my game. -

I could ony open up the sixflags Magic Mountian one, and all three of them are the same. The creator of this did was take Oblivion's SFMM 2003 recreation and updated it. Not the best as Tatsu is way off, but it's still a very nice park. Also, Batman's color scheme is wrong, and so is X2's Well anyways, here's the only one I could open. six_flags_magic_mountain.sv6 -
The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread

That was one of the orginal ideas for the park, but it was scrapped. Also, it was to be based on the Anaheim band "No Doubt." -

GeeWhzz's Cedar point? I'm not home, either, but I have it at home. I can have it up in 4 hours when I get home. d: -
No, no, I understand where you're coming from. I tried the real Ragiang bull colors, but Goliath (also an orange color scheme) blend in too much. My other reason for the colors is I wanted it to blend in with the future buildings to be placed around the coaster. Because I don't consider this the starlight coaster of the park, I wanted it to blend in with the surroundings. Any brighter color I think makes it look more intimidaing.

Funny thing is Advertising my stuff over at NE is getting very little feedback, unlike here. If you're going to start something like that, of course remember to keep room for future expansion. Also, if you're looking to improve your quality, try a small park first, then expand on it. That's exactally what I did to see how much potential my park had I have then since incorporated the ideas in that park over to the one I'm building now. Good look with your endevaor, however. I'll be watching to see something new from you then.
-
^ Exactally what I meant. As long as Peeps can technically find everything without getting lost, any layout is good. You really just need to do is fill the insides of the parks before expanding outside. That's the only major issue I see here. Some parking lots, backstage areas, side businesses on streets, etc. Will do wonders to the overall appeal.

Well, I downloaded the park, and here's my overview: Postives: You took the basics of The SFI type parks such as typical names, themed areas, etc. You have a few "cookie cutter" coasters found in the chain. Love the stations like Goliath and American Eagle. The little details like the Johnny Rockets was a nice touch. My faviorte area has to be the Americana area by far. Negatives The way you've built the park is going to keep future expansion difficult because the coasters land lock the area. And because of the crammed area, the themes/rides are clashed together in a weird way. You have alot of tress; it looks more like a dense forest then a themepark enviroment. Perhaps make that area a backstage area? You have a Texas Giant Wooden coaster, and I don't think it fits there. Of course I have no idea if you're playing for the fun of the game, or you're trying to be realistic. Either way though, It's a nice park too look around in.

That's how you improve, though. Take my park. I too started off cramming things in, but then i realized I had the foundations for a good park, so I rebuilt what I had, and improved. Sure, it's tedious, but the pay-off is more rewarding. 100 RCT years later, and I'm here where I am now, and I'm still not even close to finishing. Don't just give up, because the more you do that, the less knowledge can be received when building new parks. My advice to improve both parks is research. Look at real Entrances, look at rides and their noctiable characteristics, and most Importantly, fix up those stations some more! Nothing is wrong with the coasters, at least I think. Sure, for the limitations in RCT, you're doing well with that. What you have right now is a good blueprint for a themepark, so continue to focus more on the park's infurstructure some more. Braztaz, you have plenty of potential, but you need to concentrate more on the building then posting something new almost every day. In the end it will do your building a lot of good in the end. Try for weekly updates.
