My friends and I were just going to stay home, but then one of my friends decided to have a halloween party, so that's what I'm doing. Now all I need is a costume.

Best and Worst Organised Queues
tinkerbell replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Worst~Medusa at SFMW The line winds all over the place and it's pretty unorganised once you get to the top of the building. Also, the line will seem really short and end up taking forever. Who knew that the "60 minute wait from this point" sign outside would actually be correct.... And it's not a coaster, but the Jungle Cruise queue is awful. Best~California Screamin' Everytime I go on it, the line moves quickly and doesn't wind in and out too much. That's the best one I could think of right now. -
Consider this your burning at the stake...you will pay for this claymation blasphemy! Long live the Pumpkin King!!! Haha guess that means I'm gonna get burned too. Nightmare wasn't bad, I just couldn't figure out why everyone liked it so much and it became this huge obsession. I thought Corpse Bride was a lot better-maybe not good enough to go run out and spend another $10 to go see it again but good.

My friend sent this to me. It's pretty old and I've seen it before, but it gets me every time. http://www.video-clips.co.uk/whatswrong/whatswrong.html

Theme Park Personality Quiz
tinkerbell replied to jobber73's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Busch Gardens Tampa 60% theme, 68% rides, 64% atmosphere, 44% value Never been there.... -
Dippin Dots, cotton candy, and Tollhouse cookie ice cream sandwiches--I only eat these things at theme parks for some reason even though you can get them at other places. Also, Disneyland has those yummy rainbow lollipops. Then there are the pineapple whip floats from the Tiki Room Dole stand, which I learned are actually really good.

Saturday Went to the movies since my sister had her friend over for her b-day (even though it's not until Tuesday). We went to see Wallace & Grommit, which was actually good-I was shocked. Then we went to California Pizza Kitchen at like 2:00 and the place still had a 30 minute wait to eat outside (and it was cold...). Then I went to my friend Jessica's bday party and ended up losing my voice. Sunday Well so far I've only done my French homework and ate breakfast/lunch. Now, I'm supposed to be looking for science fair topics (science fair sucks so much-hopefully it's not something we will have to do every year) and then do my math homework. And tonight I have youth group.

I somehow got talked into getting myspace yesterday.... And our school lost 2/3 homecoming games (freshmen, jv, varsity-only jv one).....very sad. I have no idea what made me think of this now since homecoming was last Friday, but this is the random board, so it fits I guess.

Out of all of the times I've been to SFMW, I think I've seen it actually running with people in it twice. And my friends who have been on it said it was pretty painful. So since I've never actually been on it, I don't really have an opinion about what they do with it, but getting it to work might be a good start.

Those Crazy Aussies & Their Weather!
tinkerbell replied to SharkTums's topic in Random, Random, Random
I would probably die in that weather now-since I've lived in Norcal for 7 years and in the part I live in it only rains in winter and will rarely hail. Where I live it's mostly hot and dry (thankfully not humid) and when the temperature drops to like 60 degrees, that's considered cold. I remember when I briefly lived in Washington it used to rain all the time, so you never really noticed it. Back in 5th grade (here in Norcal) it snowed for like two minutes and everyone got all excited and ran outside...that was pretty funny. -
Ugh...I so much homework tonight-that's what I get for procrastinating though. Thankfully we have block schedule at my school..... Though for some reason 7th grade was harder than 8th and so far 9th.... :?

I try not to get too easily annoyed, but there are a few things that really bother me sometimes. -people smoking in non smoking areas -people who just throw their trash on the ground when there's a trash can like 3 feet away from them...*lazy* -slow loading (ok...I understand it probably takes longer than you would think to load a train and make sure everyone's locked in and all that, but come on 15 minutes to load one train on Medusa....) -walking into a park (well SFMW in my case) and having photographers pounce on you immediately saying "Would you like a picture???" It must suck having that job. -and last having to pay $6 for a Subway sandwich when you can get the same one in a Subway elsewhere for like $2...yeah the parks need profit but that's pushing it

^ just went to fright fest at SFMW < never been to fright fest (and I don't plan on going, but the roar/fog thing sounds pretty cool) V doesn't like haunted houses either

Once when we were coming back from San Francisco on BART (public train), some guy started yelling and swearing at his girlfriend. This only went on for about 2 minutes and then he got off the train (so did the girlfriend...brave person), but it was scary at the time, since we all thought he might have had a gun. I wouldn't have been surprised...he had some major anger issues. This doesn't really sound too bad in writing, but it was actually pretty scary being there. Also once when my friend and I were at my house alone watching tv, the tv got all fuzzy and really loud (like in the Ring). It scared both of us (knowing me I probably screamed...), but then I changed the channel, and they were interrupting for a news report or something like that.
