  1. Saw Corpse Bride last night, since my friends and I had a not-going-to-homecoming party , but anyway.... It was really short, but pretty good. I didn't like Nightmare too much(I think I've said this before, but might as well repeat it here ), so I was glad I liked it. It was kind of sad though-well we all thought so-but not like crying sad, which is a good thing. I think this will be the last movie I see for a while though, since all the previews we saw were pretty bad...
  2. Well the only parks I've been to in that area are Disneyland/California Adventure. You definately need at least 3 days there (2 at Disneyland, 1 at DCA, probably). We leave the park sometimes in the parts of the afternoon when it gets the most crowded and hot and go do something else, so we usually get the 4 or 5 day passes, but if you don't do that, I'm sure 3 days is enough. Try to avoid weekends there. I've always wanted to go to Universal, but I don't know if it's actually worth going to. Same with Knott's and SFMM. I can't really help plan what to do at any of those places, but I would call ahead of time to Knott's and SFMM to see what will be closed, so you can better plan when to go there. As far as other things to do, go to the beach! I remember the beaches in Socal being pretty nice, except for the fact that the water is cold (they can't be as cold as the beaches here in Norcal though). Also if you can, I would go to San Diego-yeah not very many theme parks, but it's still worth making a trip there in my opinion. Sorry I couldn't come up with very specific places to go to in Socal.
  3. 15 minutes for Pooh?! I don't think I've seen Pooh with a line ever, except for at Christmas when everything has a line.... I also thought Haunted Mansion Holiday was better than regular Haunted Mansion, which was weird for me since I don't really like Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. :? Anyway good TR!
  4. Medusa at SFMW terrified me for the longest time, but not anymore. I can't think of any specific coasters that scare me now, but in general fair coasters scare me, so I usually avoid them. I don't really like wild mouse coasters either, since they have that feeling like you're going to fall off the track (and sometimes they make me dizzy), but I'll go on them anyway. As for other rides, I won't go on those upside-down flat rides (spinning flats are fine though).
  5. Hmmm.....I can't really remember a lot of the stupid moments I've had, which is weird since I know I've had plenty. One of the ones I can remember is when I was in Disneyland in June, with my mom, sister, and my sister's friend and her mom. My sister wanted her picture taken in the L in the gold California letters outside DCA (since her name begins with an L). Her friend's name starts with an O, so her mom says "Good idea...I'll take your picture in the O." So of course I say "What are you talking about, there's no O in California..." You would think after living here for almost 7 years I would know how to spell California. Yeah not one of my smarter moments.
  6. EDIT: Ok I changed what I wrote before. I don't really have a favorite band or a favorite type of music or anything like that. I just like listening to random stuff on the radio. The bands I listen to change all the time since I get sick of things quickly.
  7. ^ is sick V gets sick a lot
  8. ^ Wouldn't want to move to Oklahoma < Doesn't want to move anywhere (5 times is enough) V Has never moved before
  9. White and blue shirt, jeans, cathy jean shoes, and my Heavenly hoodie from Lake Tahoe. Oh yeah and I have pink and blue highlighter writing on me since today was the homecoming rally at school.
  10. Ugh...expect big crowds. I was there from Dec. 27-30 about 2 years ago, and they closed Disneyland's gates around mid afternoon almost every day we were there. The whole area between Adventureland and Critter Country gets really crowded, because the lines for Indy, POTC, HMH, and SM all merged together. All I can say is use fastpasses. I don't remember DCA having big crowds though, except for Soarin.
  11. Jeans, black shirt from San Diego, and my really old falling apart slippers.
  12. ^lol! I hope it opens soon, though according to disneyland.com it's going to be closed still on Jan. 31 (the calendar wouldn't go any farther than that on my computer). I don't know if that's right though.
  13. I'm happy because I got Gilmore Girls seasons 1 and 2 on dvd, I'm almost positive I have all A's in my classes so far, my int. 3 dance class routine actually looks good right now, and I'm done with my homework for tonight. Yay!
  14. Without traffic SFMW is about 40 minutes away and PGA is at least 1 hour and 15 minutes away. I have no idea how far away Bonfante or SCBB are. I go to SFMW the most though, since it's closest-it takes like 15 minutes just to get to the highway from my house.
  15. I'm pretty sure it was the Matterhorn uhh left side I think. This was back in June...I'm surprised I still remembered.
  16. At SFMW, on Roar the train stopped in the shed right before the station for a few minutes, but I'm not sure if we were stuck or not. Though they did close it right after that. I also get stuck on Alice at DL and we had to evacuate.
  17. I feel sorry for these kids who have to live with these stupid names....I mean they're already some celebrities kid, so they stand out to begin with. Kalel isn't as bad as Phinneus though.
  18. ^has a headache Vhas nowhere to go today
  19. I'm pretty bad when it comes to giving advice, but your situation sounds pretty similar to my old one, so I might as well try . I used to like watching coasters (for some reason I found them interesting to watch) and I liked going to theme parks too, but I was always so scared to go on them. BTMR at DLR scared me when I was about 10, so I figured I wouldn't like coasters. Then my friend forced me on Roar at SFMW about 2 years ago (I think) and I didn't really want to go so, I hated the ride. Later on I ended up loving it. Then there was Medusa at SFMW, which took me 4 trips over 2 years to go on it. I would wait in line, which would always be long, and I always ended up getting so scared and backing out. I would always regret not going after we left the park though. I finally went at my 13th b-day and was scared at first but loved it at the end. Ok..now for the advice part. I would go on the ride with someone who's been on it before and don't shut your eyes-it just makes you dizzy. And if you still really don't want to go, don't. You will probably go eventually, and you will like the ride much more if you actually want to go, not just because someone forced you to. Oh yeah and try to go when there's a shorter line...you have less time to back out.
  20. ^ Is older than me < Is possibly the youngest girl here... V Is younger than me
  21. My parents and sister don't really like coasters/theme parks, and though I rarely talk about them, my parents probably get annoyed when I start asking them to take me to SFMW or DLR, etc. (it sucks not being able to drive ).
  22. I'm getting Gilmore Girls season 1 and 2 on dvd..woohoo. Lol
  23. I picked the Red Sox, since it would be nice to see them win again. I don't really have too strong of an opinion about who's in the World Series...just not the Yankees. lol
  24. Grizzly at PGA since we were on the 2nd to last ride of the day, so they just let us go again. Then I began to get a headache, which was weird since we had been on it like 3 times already earlier and I was fine then. Also, Tazmanian Devil at SFMW, since it hardly ever has a line, so sometimes they just let you stay on as long as you want. The most I've ever survived on that one in a row without getting dizzy was 3.
