  1. Not to mention replacing the lift chain won't be an easy task while a train is on the lift. This isn't the parks 1st run-in with X's lift so hopefully it'll be running within a couple weeks.
  2. The enthusiast in me says "hell yes!" The realist in me says it probably won't happen for another 3 or 4 years IF it happens at all. I'm OK with this however, as the park is still very well rounded in its attraction offerings.
  3. Any flats in general would be an accomplishment @ SFMM.
  4. I've been on all Intamin drop tower generations and my #1 is the 2nd generations followed closely by 3rd generations. LL:DOD is fun but not as exciting as 2nd and 3rd gens in my opinion.
  5. RMC is on a roll. Can't wait to see the layout.
  6. From the looks of that 1st video, getting off this thing dry will not be an option.
  7. This might be true as I know the park was trying to get Intamin to modify the operational guide to state that glasses w/ straps were allowed but they were having difficulties with Intamin agreeing to this. If it finally went through then that's great news as I always hated dealing with guest concerns when I was lead at XC because people that had been on TTD were allowed to wear their glasses but couldn't on XC.
  8. ^^^^That camera rig is out of control!
  9. ^^Glasses with straps are allowed on Silver Bullet and unless the park got Intamin to modify the operational guide, then glasses with OR without straps are still not allowed on XC.
  10. ^Very True. Both, standard Diskos and Disko coasters are a hell of a lot of fun.
  11. Those on ride videos were a disaster. CDRide was an unstable company and got bought out multiple times before Cedar Fair finally decided to cut ties completely.
  12. They had the B&M trains on the transfer track when I went to the park back in April.
  13. ^Understandable and rightfully so. I'm sure it's a lengthy process and I'm glad it finally came to fruition.
  14. Thanks. This does make me wonder why Springfield wasn't created years ago.
  15. Is trimmed to death! I'd say Behemoth is another one that was over hyped and then forgotten.
  16. ^ El toro was only 12 million. For perspective: Apocalypse @ SFMM was 10 million, Wodan @ Europa was just under 13.5 million. (Not sure if this includes themeing or not) I've never been on Wodan but would venture to say El Toro is a much better ride experience which looks to be for a cheaper cost.
  17. This looks awesome. What does the Flaming Moe taste like?
  18. Alpengeist is good but Raptor I found to be subpar. Batman clones are my #1 with Afterburn/Talon tied for a close 2nd.
  19. ^^Be careful what you ask for. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he read the forums. ^Agreed as El Toro is my #1 coaster. I for the life of me cant figure out why more parks haven't opted to use Intamin for wooden coasters.
  20. ^Thanks. Yes bad indeed as it is a really fun ride.
