  1. ^^^Yes, S:TOP is a combo tower and hell of a lot of fun. The ONLY S&S tower that I enjoy. I've ridden Judge Roy in '08 and '12. When I rode this past summer it was A LOT rougher than when I rode in '08 but definitely still a great ride and still manageable. Definitely NOT "GR rough," that's for sure!
  2. KBF's Windseeker is the only one that's still closed in the CF chain. It's waiting on a blessing from DOSH.
  3. ^There you go, trying to be logical. That's exactly why this wasn't done. I agree with you in that they should have had multiple crews working on different parts of the project. There may have been, but doesn't seem like it based on the delays and how the queue and "YOLOPlaza" appear to be "thrown together."
  4. ^This. There will be a lot of people on the streets at that time, (especially after the park closes) so it will be safe for a walk back to the Radisson. Plus keep in mind most of the people in the surrounding hotels at that time will most likely being staying there while visiting Haunt as well.
  5. Why not?!? You can already get Hepatitis in the bathrooms........
  6. Hopefully they take care of the issue with the grease that's been leaking everywhere. Twice I've ridden it and either myself or someone else riding on the same carriage has had grease on their clothes at the end of the ride. When operators are approached about it, they open a drawer full of "wet-naps" and hand you a couple so clearly this must be a common occurrence. ^^No ones feet have been cut off so all has been well.
  7. Fantastic report. Thanks for sharing. Favorite shot of the report.
  8. Did something break? July isn't a really good month to refurbish a ride that just opened a year ago. You sound surprised.......
  9. ^^That looks great. ^I agree. It's always nice to have the attraction name on the trains as opposed to just the park name.
  10. Rumor has it I:305 is having some lift cable problems. How long has it been down?
  11. Sounds like the train rehab fell behind schedule. Most likely due to Zoom being down along with LR refurb. Also, XC has less downtimes with 1 train, so consider it a blessing in disguise.....
  12. No problem. You're correct, it does help to have a 2nd train which does cut down on length of time needed for rehab. A lot of parks use this practice, Disney and Busch parks are another example.
  13. Zoom has always had 2 trains, as does Boomerang.
  14. This is good stuff, thanks for sharing. I visited GL in '07, it's last season of operation and it was sad to see the Sea World side of things sitting abandoned. I'm glad they decided to keep Wildwater Kingdom open as it seemed to be popular when I was there.
  15. ^This. I'm not a huge fan of Disko Coasters however this particular one looks very good. I love Splash Battles as they are great fun for the entire family.
  16. This is amazing! CoasterFriends
  17. I definitely see why Vekoma only sold 1 of those tilt coasters. Great concept but seems like it's a maintenance nightmare. Did anyone yell "90 degrees!!" when it tilted? Great report.
  18. ^^Makes complete sense as they are trying to focus more on infrastructure and attractions that have something to offer for the entire family. ^An invert is just what this park needs. Let's hope this is true.
  19. ^^If that truly was the case, CF wouldn't have purchased anything from Intamin after installing Perilous Plunge @ KBF. If a particular product Intamin offers fits CF's project needs then it will be purchased. Just because they haven't purchased from them for a few years does not mean their relationship is non-existent.
  20. Another testing video: Coasterfriends FB Looks to be some very nice airtime to be had at 1:03.
