Same here. I got more airtime on 1st and 2nd generation Intamin towers. LL:DOD still has a "fear factor" with its height i'll admit but that's about it.

That's great that the park gave you guys ERT on pretty much everything. It's been said a thousand time but I think it's great that the park embraces the enthusiast community.

According to Screamscape's conversation with Sue Carpenter, don't expect X2 to be open until after Fright Fest. Sounds like that lift chain needed to be ordered. This is probably common knowledge for those of you that attended the Q&A @ WCB.

Matterhorn had SECTIONS replaced, not the entire track. Big Thunder's entire track is being replaced.

Love the speed on this project. Banshee will be erected (giggle) and testing before SFMM gets their "Family coaster" built.

At that time it was the gearbox that had a mechanical failure. This particular issue is with the lift chain itself. At least that's the word on the street.

OK yea I figured that would be the only way to replace the chain. Thanks for the update.
