ONLY reason I had to step foot into Circus, Circus was Canyon Blaster. Hopefully El Loco will add a second reason. -

The car doesn't have to fly off the track in a ball of flames to technically be considered a derailment. (Though would be cool to watch ) There's only a few millimeters of clearance for the LSMs/LIMs along the underside of the car. A simple wheel de-lamination (Polyurethane partially or completely comes off of the wheel hub) will cause the car to shift enough to where it will make contact with the LIMs/LSMs. Also, as Joey said, a LIM/LSM mis-fire will cause the car to shift suddenly which may have been root cause of issue as well. Haunt on Thursdays is manageable w/ Light to medium crowds. You shouldn't need Fastlane/Fright lane at all and you'll still be able to do all major attractions plus Haunt mazes. I would suggest getting to Mirror, Mirror first as it is a low capacity maze and even with light crowds will still have a 30-45 minute wait. Thursdays and Sundays are the best days to go to Haunt.

Thanks for sharing. Karacho looks like a fun little coaster. I'm hoping more US parks start embracing these compact launching coasters. IE: Lynet @ Farup Sommerland and Karacho.

I haven't seen any at Knott's yet, but we have plenty of cats! I was working Hat Dance one night and one just casually walked out onto the platform. There's one named Baxter that always hangs out at the rides office backstage too haha. There's a few Possums and Raccoons living in Timber Mountain Log ride and Calico Mine Ride. At the end of the night during closing procedures @ Log Ride there's animation that needs to be manually shut off and for a couple of them you would have to reach into holes to "flip" the switch. We used sticks to avoid having to blindly stick our hands into a hole as Possums and Raccoons lived in a few of the holes.
