  1. Can't wait to see the report from the park's TMLR preview showing off their updates.
  2. ^^Sounds about right. This is the 3rd or 4th time they've been sued for break/lunch violations.
  3. ^^ Exactly. You'll be looking at another 3-4 hour ordeal as the EVAC system takes 2 hours to setup.
  4. ^^It is a little overkill I'll agree. The crane with a man basket idea wouldn't work though if its 300 ft off the ground however.
  5. I don't believe Knott's/CF necessarily wanted to go this route and neither did Mondial as i'm assuming they had to pick up the tab. Smells like DOSH to me.
  6. The park owns their own crane. This EVAC system is a "last resort" method of EVACing guests. If the ride goes down and maintenance says it'll be an hour until carriage can be brought down then they won't use this method.
  7. It will be brought over via crane from in between Jag and Zoom. It will take approximately 2 hours to assemble.
  8. MTV you say? Is that the station that used to actually play music videos?!?
  9. In my opinion any new ones would need to be redesigned. The evacuation system they designed for the ones they have now. Will take hours to remove everyone. It can only remove four people at a time and is very slow. 8 at a time. 4 on each side.
  10. January- 3rd week of March Knott's could afford to be closed Mon-Thurs.
  11. Called the number. Very cool marketing indeed. RMC Facebook Amazing.
  12. I'm with you. Seat belt is definitely not needed on Grizzly.
  13. The only reason Psyclone got riders was because Deja Vu's exit nearly funneled directly into Psyclone's queue. I do remember the days of the operators having to have at least 16 riders on the train to dispatch it to avoid valleying.
  14. ^It's a word filter for L-ocker as there was a bunch of unnecessary (as well as irritating) complaining about another Park operator requiring guests to use them to store bags and personal belongings in for most of their major coasters.
  15. Sams Club is part of Wal-Mart so them and Six Flags would go hand-in-hand.
  16. No video that I can find. I opened Sierra Sidewinder so I know how it operates first hand. This image is from D'wervelwind @ Toverland but its the exact same station/transfer track design as Sidewinder. The entire track assembly is moved vertical by a hydraulic lift. Once it's in the transfer position the train in the station approach (waiting block) can be advanced into the transfer or if there's a train already in the transfer it can be advanced from the transfer to the lift. The track can not be moved with a train on the station track. Hope this makes sense.......
  17. The trains will collide, there will be bloodshed and the park will release a statement to the media saying "YOLO!"
  18. The wheel assemblies are clearly different.
  19. We will take what we can get. Yes, back to YOLOing.
