  1. I've had a stapleage incident on Gemini, but other than that, they have a fantastic crew. The same with Raptor.
  2. I can remember going to Cedar point back in '97 with my cousin Len and my brother. The weather called for rain, and when we got there, it began to rain. We went in anyways, rode Raptor, Mantis (busted my stand up cherry on it), Blue Streak, and did the sinny (cinema) while we were there. That was all we did before the park closed because of the rain, and I believe I heard tornado warning. But while we were there, we had a great time, thus making the most of it. So to the poster, make the most of it, no matter what, as well as what Robb said.
  3. I thought at first this was a dig at Cedar Point, would have been some great cheek. Anyways, after Disney, more than ever, I'm going to happily roost on the fence and say both.
  4. Maybe a Mintamin Lego Mite with a reverser track? lol
  5. ^I have to say that for the sake of wishing, if Knott's were to get something like Atlantis Adventure, that would be the fourth launching coaster.
  6. I'd like to see an Impulse at Knott's. I'm a big fan of them myself. Anyways, back in '03, after I rode Wicked Twister, I wondered structurally if they could build an impulse with what almost appeared to be fish hooks. Maybe a nice 300 ft. one, but that's just dreaming.
  7. Erik, what a fantastic TR/pics of all the parks, the City Museum, and the Arch. The slides remind me of a museum a friend of mine went to when she was still living in Newcastle. They had these enormous slides you could go down. The attraction is gone now, but I'm hoping someone from the Brit Crew knows what I'm talking about.
  8. ^What Chris said. Phantom is my only Morgan, and I think now more than ever can be considered a Morgan since the last of the Arrow track is gone, or at least with the swooping drop to the apex of the second hill.
  9. The one I really liked was Black Hole at Alton. It had the whole Jules Verne/Tardis thing going on. http://www.rcdb.com/ig799.htm?picture=3
  10. I had had planned to make Everest my 50th, as firehawk, erm...X Flight at the time was my 25th, and I wanted the quarter mark to be Vekoma...don't ask me why. Well, the summer before the trip to Florida, i trolled around Essex county with a friend of mine going for credits, so Everest could be the 50th when the time came. the plan worked, except I forgot on my second ride on Space mountain that it was two creds (I count gemini as two as well), and SM ended up being my 50th. I got a bonus credit too at KW for riding Lil' Phantom with another enthusiast, and not needing a kid to ride.
  11. ^ It's almost like comparing apples to oranges.
  12. I think they would listen AND read if all the signs and facts were written in texting 'English' and I use that word 'looosely.'
  13. Yeah, I have heard this before too. I once was at a telemarketing job, and my boss asked all of us what we were into, and I said roller coasters. He asked me what was the best park I have been to, and I told him that I love Kennywood--thus going on about Phantom. However, because Cedar Point's coaster count nearly tripled KW, he said he would rather go there instead of KW. I get that mentality alot here with Cedar Point being so close.
  14. You have to remember though that things have changed in regards to Millie's construction and KD's. I'd imagine the new giga's footers might be different.
  15. Over on Justin TV, Don't Look down has a whole slew of documentaries and what not. I have the link before, and I as far as I know, Julian (who runs DLD) is always adding more. http://www.justin.tv/tinhead_bro/old
  16. LBJim, hope I gots your name right, have you ridden the coasters you mentioned? Yeah Draggin' Iron isn't that great, but Vortex? Vortex began my love of suspended coasters, and every time I have come off it, I love it even more. Jeez, I almost hada fan-boy moment.
  17. Oh yeah, I'm quite familiar with FD3... As for Coaster it was also in an episode of 21 Jump Street...oh yeah, I'm showing my age now. lol Tis a shame about the Wild Mouse though...you know that it couldn't be saved with restructuring or whatever needed bein done.
  18. Sweet four more credits for you Big Mike, although some of us, including myself would count Racer as TWO.
  19. This is nw to me...they got rid of Wild Mouse? When did this happen? Hey Nrthwind, did you happen to see the film Roller Coaster that was shot at Playland?
  20. This looks great! It's too bad FT didn't come this easy.
  21. passed the Gret American ball park back in '03 on my way to Kentucky, sadly for a funeral and not a park. It was a nice looking place.
  22. What? Stealthy and Saw weren't steep enough?
  23. Really? I didn't know this... All joking aside, I have to agree with the general opinion about an S&S launcher, and hopefully they'll take the terrain into consideration.
  24. I love these trains the most, and the restraints are oh soooo comfy. http://www.rcdb.com/ig123.htm?picture=20
