  1. ^Agreed...or at least get WDW Monorail the Movie.
  2. I've always started front to back. Now when I get to the fork between gemini Midway and Frontier Trail, I lean more for Gemini. But either way you go, there will be some bottlenecking for sure.
  3. I had the impression there would be a Space Mountain film done before BTM...
  4. King Kahuna was my first Top Spin, they're not very male friendly, but a bit of redesignation is alright for a fun ride.
  5. I knew they retracked it, I remember seeing on Screamscape how they were having some alignment issues on the first drop. That sucks about the jerking though, I know I want to get back next year. I didn't get to do everything I hoped to do (got my creds and so forth), big group of people and it was rush-rush.
  6. Sadly, the only one left is Steeplechase over at BPB...granted though, they didn't have the soap boxes there.
  7. I haven't ridden it this year, I should have stated when I was last there (2005). But, I had been warned it got rough towards the back. I didn't think it was all that bad, but I like a bit of roughness, and bein thrown around.
  8. Wow! Cowabunga Bay looks fantastic! Great report Big Mike, and well done Shane.
  9. I never found the transition on the second hill that bad at all. What I always felt was the bottoming out section at the botton of the first track where you straighten out...In the front fine, but you get anywhere near the back, and you could feel the rough transition...almost like a car on it's two wheels, and then coming back.
  10. Holiday World sure knows how to cater to us...with more tunnels...yee-e-ah!
  11. That would be the one. I used it a few years back with Intamin coming out witha new inversion...Flair Loop...I had to try...was hoping to crack it.
  12. This whole Whyte Lightning thing is insane. I've even tried running it throug an anagram program, and getting nothing.
  13. You know, after getting caught up with all the posts, the renderings, and so forth--I'm taking back my complaints--I'm friggin' excited about it now. I mean, it's a new compact launcher, how could I not see the goodness of it.
  14. I'm really excited about this coaster. i do hope it's something with a reverse part of the coaster. I know it's gimmicky, but it's still something that should be fun. Alton are really doing a fantastic job with this.
  15. Speaking for myself, I don't think it's whining. I have been hearing for years that there would be steel, I just thought it would have been something else. I'm glad Kennywood's got a new coaster though.
  16. Also, you and kingsdominionlvr are basing this off Premier coasters that were built over 10 years ago. That's like saying the next B&M is going to suck because Iron Wolf sucks. Don't you think the technology, track design, train design, restraint design, etc. has changed a bit? I certainly do, especially considering NEWER, SMALLER, Premiers like BLSC, Mummy, etc. seem to be pretty reliable, smooth, and decent rides. Oh jeez... Look, I'm aware of what Premier have done then and now, and yes you're right. That said, considering what is out there, I would have thought they would have picked otherwise. I'm sure it'll be a good ride and all, I was just expecting something else...what, I don't know.
  17. I thought Blue treak back in the day was a single lapbar. I love seeing vintage shots of my beloved home park, and the shot of Mine Ride on the second lift was nice too...no Dragster in the background (I'm not hating on Dragster, for those fanboys).
  18. Well, if they're bringing the Turnpikes back, then yay, a Premier.
  19. I bet you Goofy set this guy up to it, I mean maybe he's been waiting for Minnie to be available, or maybe Mickey...
  20. Nah, I wouldn't want a 30 million dollar Beemer, but Gerstlauer are quite reliable. But I should just take my own advice, 'don't knock it til I've ridden it...'
  21. I'm disappointed it's a Premier too. I was hoping for a Gerstlauer myself. Removing the Turnpikes for a Premier... I just don't see the appeal...but hey, it is a coaster.
  22. Huzzah! I can even boast that I was in an article back about four or five years ago...
  23. Please, it can't be any worse than Rattler before the remodifications...
  24. I have no issues with it. Both of my bathing suits are the furthest thing from offensive. Mind you, they're a bit flamboyant, but that's just fine by me.
