I have to say i do love funking with the GP's head when the situation arrives. I was queuing up for Disaster Transport, and these kids behind myself and my friend Larry--no older than 14 they were, and the one kid asked if it goes upside down. I turn around and tell him it does, saying it has ten inversions, and you only have a lap bar. So this is going on for awhile, my buddy having a laugh at this, and finally as we'regoing up the stairs, i told it doesn't go upside ten times.

^Yeah because if that were the case, I'd have nothing good to say about CW with how slow they move their lines.

Ya maybe it can be a 500ft B&M Dive/Flyer lol but seriously what ever it is i'm sure it will be amazing. I hope so, with an Aquatrax bit, and a shoot 'em up dark ride section. If all else fails, break out the hyper wild mouse.

Nah, the new coaster is finally going to be the 500 ft. dive machine, even though we know B&M won't go past 230 ft.

I know myself, I'm a combo of a woohoo type of guy and a laugher, I really have no issues with screaming, it's when it's unneccessary. That and these idiots who throw up the rock on hand sign and going 'yeah baby!' throughout the entire ride. There's being silly and having a good time, and then there's being a flippin' moron that draws the line.

What? No pics of 1001 Nachts? Or was the missus (or mister) there with the ride. lol! All sarcasm aside, these were some nice pics, and from someone who has done Kennywood at night, it's absolutely gorgeous.

That sounds awfully fanboyish...me detecting yet another fan-boy...bring out the beligerent bullies...kidding. But yeah, you're actually spot on about the Point.

Wow Big Mike, you should think about bottling your charm and selling it. Lord knows I could use that bottle (for purposes of evil...I mean good of course). Keep up the good work.

Two words. In-funkin'-sane! Nice ride cycle, and love how the first song was love Etc. Very nice.

And the questions keep on coming. We had the Viper here in Windsor a few years back, except it's called the King Kobra. I was going to ride it when it was here last, but I hadn't eaten much, went riding, and my stomach wasn't doing well.

Thanks for posting these pics John. I have to say though, from your pics and description of Wildcat, its layout sound/looks similar to the Swamp Fox. This by no means is a bad thing.

^I agree with you, there are other parks I would love to visit that I haven't, but if my only trip s to the Point, I go there to do what I love to do...ride coasters and have fun. I also got thinking that the bashers also base their opinions on the CP fan-boys. I've read posts by many in my life, and I can see why many would bash the park. As for England Patriot's comments, dude, they're flats everywhere, but when you're there for coasters, you don't notice them.

That would be perfect for an Intamin swinging ship with ring-a-ring-ding-aling...sorry... lol

I have to ask, now that it was mentioned, there seems to be alot of Knott's bashing on this site. I haven't been yet, and would like to. Just out of curiosity, why? (although I think removal of certain buildings are one thng).

Cedar Point's my home park, and even if I get only a handful of rides in, I still have a great time. Again, I think it's how you make of it. I think it's still en vogue in the enthusiast community to bash Da Point, but that's how I see it.

Actually, most rides make me nervous or anxious--just getting over a bout of anxiety with rides for the past few years. But, usually, any concept ride like my first invert, flyer, and so forth, I tend to be more nervous about. Once the ride begins, I'm fine.

I got thinking, and this is a far stretch, why not have some wild west themed dark top spin? The Point will have covered three aspects... a dark ride, a flat, and a water ride. Just a tought...

I remember seeing this, and was just like what? I was, and still am, at a loss ofwords. Now I don't feel so odd when I boast about Intamin's sexy trains...don't worry, there won't be no wedding. lol

I was thinking the same thing, like an out and out back for starters on the second pic.
