  1. What a bizarre park! It looks like it could have the potential to be a nice park, but then they just forgot about everything when it comes to upkeep, maintenance, etc.... Thanks for sharing!
  2. I love the idea of transporting the dinosaurs through town in cages, awesome!!
  3. Nope, it has three trains.
  4. ^I'm still not fully convinced that another water ride is what Tusenfryd needs the most, but the ride itself looks great and judging from the comments on the parks facebook page the reactions seems to be almost all positive. The important thing is if the ride will bring more guests to the park, and I surely hope so. Maybe a second escalator is needed in the park??
  5. I haven't tried the new B&M restraints, but one thing I have always liked about the B&M OTSR is the amount of space you have between the seat and the restraints (at least for me, being a skinny guy).
  6. Ah thanks for sharing the link, I haven't seen that footage in years. The airtime must be insane, anyone want to estimate the negative G's going over the tophat?
  7. I see the Disney fans are all out in force about "Frozen taking over everywhere". How much Frozen stuff is there at DL? Is it getting as dominant as some people are claiming? I don't feel it's taking over WDW to the extent that some of the Disney fans are claiming. Okay, so you have Frozen Fun which is quite big, but that is only a seasonal event.
  8. ^Not that I can think of. Certain elements being modified yes, but not expanding a wooden coaster by making it taller/longer. Sounds weird indeed, I would think the money would be put to better use investing in new attractions.
  9. Maya, one of the two cats at my parents house, deciding that the table is a good place for lying down.
  10. *cough* http://rcdb.com/12032.htm#
  11. I want the Frozen ride!!! On a bit more serious note, this was definitely not what I was expecting from Tusenfryd. If someone were to ask me what Tusenfryd is lacking, a water ride is not what comes to my mind as in my opinion they're already quite well covered with the log flume and Supersplash. Anyway, I hope it will be a big success for the park. It's not something that will bring me back to the park unless I'm in the area, but the concept art looks great and I'm sure it will be a very fun ride.
  12. I approve of this idea so much that I will give you a straight from the city that the real Nina Kleppe lives in! (*except I'm in Sweden right now, but that's only until tomorrow)
  13. Awesome report! Think I have to go see the show when Disney on Ice returns to Norway in January 2016.
  14. Wow those looks fantastic! Probably the coolest wooden coaster trains I have ever seen!
  15. That looks amazing, thanks for sharing!
  16. When I get a home park....
  17. Wow if I had known what I was in for when opening this thread I would have brought popcorn... At 16 years old and with a coaster count of 165 you have already experienced more "new and different" rides than most people have at your age. I understand it's easy to fall into the "grass is always greener on the other side" feeling, and it's certainly not uncommon for people to be extra critical of their home parks. Just take a step back and be grateful that you have a park with a fantastic collection of rollercoasters that will be even better next year. It could always be worse, you could live 300 miles from the closest major rollercoaster....
  18. ^^Thanks! I didn't think about SooperDooperLooper. Now I learnt something new today. Cool!
  19. Was Revolution the only modern looping coaster to run without headrests? I don't know about anyone else...
  20. Looks like RMC has another winner on their hands, that layout looks absolutely fantastic!
  21. Awesome! Definitely heading there next year!!!
  22. I have very little interest in Star Wars, but I love Star Tours at DHS. It just goes to show that if a ride is done well, it can be enjoyed by all people regardless of level of interest in the background story.
  23. I like the color scheme. Should look great when all the theming is in place. Always nice to see more Vekoma family suspended coasters being built, they are really great rides that the entire family can enjoy.
  24. Mechanica at Liseberg. Okay, so it was the only "new for 2015" ride I have ridden this year so there wasn't really much competition. Still I loved the ride, I was laughing hysterically throughout the entire ride trying to figure out what the hell was going on! It also looks fantastic!
  25. Will for sure be interesting to follow. With the addition of Helix last year, the competition from Liseberg has certainly increased even further. The last major rollercoaster addition was Speedmonster in 2006, can we hope for something spectacular?
