  1. http://www.thethemeparkguy.com/park/yas-island-water-park A roller coaster at Yas Island??? What the heck is a suspended coaster doing here?
  2. ^lol... who would wait that long for Mantis? If the Theme Park Mafia forced me to wait in a 5-hour line for any ride at Cedar Point, it would probably be Maverick or MF. But unless it was life-or-death, I would not wait that long...
  3. Sorry for bringing up an old post, but I wanted to say that i think they used to but got rid of it.
  4. ^double click to extract it? I think macs support gzip files. If not, download another archive program and try it.
  5. Even though the ride is a piece of crap it would be fun to see TPR go to the 11 loop coaster... maybe one of our members will risk his life and go there
  6. Ah... maybe some year when u have more time to plan?
  7. I've never been to busch gardens... is that drop EXACTLY where Big Bad Wolf's was?
  8. They'll survive... just disfigured Too bad... how far away is it from the next closest park...
  9. Sorry for the bump, but we have new news on this pair of coasters- http://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&co=7980 The company has built 10 coasters including these 2, not just the 4 we were expecting. I've heard the Sun Park one is better than other knockoffs (Wth? Look at the video TPR made) and... There are videos of the new knockoff SLC testing- and an even more horrifying one- For comparison, here is a similar knockoff viewed from the catwalk at Hangzhou Paradise from Beijing Shibaolai Amusement Equipment- POV of Hangzhou's- Hangzhou's looks bad, considering there is a loud censor beep. But look at the Immelmann (considered a sidewinder on RCDB) on Hangzhou- To this. The Hangzhou's POV comments include- OK, so how bad will this new one be? And how bad, in turn, will the 11 inversion be? We'll have to wait until TPR China trip 2012...
  10. Thanks. Is there a full steel support generator? And if there is not, is there any other wood generators besides Wood Magic? And if there is not any other, is there any other plugins for NL besides Wood Magic (Wood Magic is in the plugins folder).
  11. Shockwave was my first looping coaster - I rode it when I was, like, 7 or 8. We went from Ohio to Texas mainly to ride it, because you have to be 48" tall to ride the looping coasters at Cedar Point. But I had discovered Six Flags through Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, so I looked it up and was stunned to see that you had to be only 42" tall to ride Shockwave. It is a shame to see how rusty that thing is... it looks like it could fall apart. And as for you "Shwartzporn" fanatics, well, you better hope Shockwave is a girl...
  12. How do you place scenery objects besides that one tree? Yes, I know that you only have trees to start with, but how do you choose trees?
  13. Wood - Either Son of Beast or Mean Streak. Runner-ups are Villian at Geauga lake and Timber Wolf at Worlds of Fun. Also, at Mount Olympus, the small "family" woodie Pegasus gave a horrible ride for its size, and Zeus was also bumpy. Steel - I really don't know, but there was one particular ride on Vortex at KI that was so rough I didn't ride it for quite a while after that. I've been on several other Arrow loopers, and those can be pretty bad. Gemini @ CP can be smooth, but it can give you enough vertical g-force at points to make for a rather uncomfortable ride, and the same goes for Magnum's bunny hills (although Gemini has more rough potential). Arrow Dynamics just makes bumpy rides a lot.
  14. I'd have to say Shockwave @ KD, because it is the only Togo I've been on In all seriousness, Shockwave is OK, but it is a bit bumpy.
  15. I really don't know, but I love Shoot the Rapids at Cedar Point. Thunder Canyon is OK, but it is too short and is missing the water cannons that other water rides have...
  16. I loved the Chaos at Cedar Point until those crazy guys tore it out...
  17. Dinosaurs Alive @ CP. I hate Dick Kinzel...
  18. Cool coaster, but I don't like the new intamin track. I've always had a spot in my heart for box track, and it is kinda sad to see its demise. My first looping coaster (Shockwave @ SFOT), giga (MF) and strata (TTD) that I rode were Intamins with box track. MF used to be my absolute favorite ride ever, and when I was younger I considered being a piece of its track for Halloween. Seriously. RIP box track,
  19. Warner Bros. Movie World is building an el loco... http://rcdb.com/10154.htm Hopefully, S&S will end up building a different el loco layout (They are all the same, with the slight difference that Steel Hawg has a brake between the outward - banked curve and the dive loop, and a slightly less steep drop).
  20. This also means shorter lines on Behemoth...
  21. Also, look at TPR's video of one of their arrow knockoffs (WARNING - STRONG LANGUAGE - There is at least 2 F-bombs and 4 s**ts) That video is also shaky as heck. I hope the camera is being held and is not mounted to the train. BTW, this coaster even has "Made In China" on the cars-
