  1. My exact thought process before hopping on any Vekoma... Realistically, if it's as bad as the descriptions state it being, then I'd easily skip it. A modern take on this layout would definitely be something worth traveling to experience, though!
  2. Any of the Flight of Fears, also The Bat at Kings Island (even when it was Top Gun).
  3. I get them, and read through them. It's neat keeping up with what some folks have going on in the threads, especially if they're random trip reports.
  4. Devlog #68, Parkitect get's spooky and throw's in a new coaster-type! (Photo is from link above)
  5. Most old-school flat rides that go in a simple motion (Himalayas, Scramblers/Sizzlers, etc.). Almost every flying scooter. Adventure Express and Backlot Stunt Coaster at Kings Island. Great American Scream Machine at SFOG.
  6. I'd definitely agree. I'll miss some of the insane elements taken a berserk speeds, but some of the newer coasters they've built have been equally intense in different ways!
  7. Expedition Everest gets my vote. And for most intense coaster with a 48" height requirement I've ever experienced, my vote goes to Lightning Run.
  8. Welcome to the club! My theory has to do with Stengel designing a lot of B&M's earlier coasters.
  9. Seems bumping that exposure makes Cedar Point extra pretty! Beautiful portraits and landscapes! I love when a park transforms for halloween events!
  10. If I remember, it sat right across from T2 and was a kiddie ride that went in a circle. I believe you could turn a wheel and the cars (literally themed to racing cars) would swing further outwards or inwards. Edit: The first pic under a google images search will bring it up.
  11. I'm sensing similarities to Lightning Run! Incredible first drop, followed by a sweet airtime hill, followed by a large overbank. middle part of course is super-twisty, and near the end are a bunch of tiny airtime hills! I'm also seriously loving the style of this coaster too! It's bright track and supports combined with this layout parallel against Crittenden drive is almost reminiscent of a boardwalk coaster (reminds me of California Screamin'), but so much better!
  12. Nah didn't expect track will slide by tomorrow if no pictures come up today. Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh the suspense. First time I've heard anything involving this.
  13. ^^I remember seeing the video you posted on the previous page. The park with the Sky Rocket looks really good!
  14. Last year's summer I visited Kentucky Kingdom almost every other week, sometimes less. This past summer, I believe I went once every 2 to 3 weeks.
  15. Isn't that exactly what I mentioned, or did I miss something?
  16. I'm now a firm believer in making a ride fit in virtually any space, if done right. Especially with a very recent example having opened. There is the Top Eliminator Dragsters strip that's open for something. That space between Thunder Run and River Rapids Ride is pretty dead.
  17. Almost voted for Vortex at KI, and almost completely forgot X2 was made by Arrow. My vote goes for that as well. Also this thread has got to have the biggest revival I've ever seen on this website! A 7-year gap!
  18. They have storms, thunder, lightning, terror, and roller skates... Only thing missing is some family-friendly rain, which CFC pointed out (which would be a lovely retheme for Roller Skater).
  19. Frontier always did have some of the better characters compared to other coaster game developers. They're so lively and cheerful, it's cute!
  20. Nickelodeon Universe, if that counts. Second to that, Beech Bend Park because of its charm.
  21. Beautiful coaster! The theming is simple, yet very effective! Color scheme is quite nice as well!
  22. I've been keeping an eye on TPS for a little while now, and I'm interested in what folks that play it might think the best park made in it is? Any suggestions?
