  1. My favorite everyday flat is, hands-down, any freefall tower (I LOVE the Larson/ARM towers)! But my very favorite flat ride probably goes to The Crypt at Kings Dominion. Those flips are nuts!
  2. For the ones I've ridden: Montu and Intimidator 305.
  3. Raven at Holiday World a few weekends ago.
  4. Total guess, but I'm assuming there might be two arms on two sides behind it that rotate at different speeds. Think of Vekoma Waikiki Wave, except with similarity to a KMG Miami. It looks alright, and something perfect for game or amusement centers looking for something with a tiny footprint that's fun for little kids.
  5. ^They're both my photos. The old one was from August 2011. I've actually been having a hard time finding that old photo on my old hard drive without the huge watermark I put on it long ago, too!
  6. Indeed, very high off of the ground too! This is a dream coaster for many enthusiasts, and looks incredible!
  7. ^Not significantly, from what I can tell. I think it was only reshaped.
  8. Standing next to (which nearly felt like being directly under) the structure up close in-person was a whole new experience. I had only seen track curve like this in photos, so I had to stop and admire the drop for a few minutes (before a very curious wasp forced me to move ). It looks insane, and I couldn't be more excited to see this ride up and running next year! First twisty drop goodness. General Peppy would be so proud! ... wow! Nice skies make the track stand-out beautifully! It was about here I had to stop and admire the twisted mess! Not yet ready for action. A closer look Now from across the street. Good Idea on KK and RMC's part to start on the lifthill and drop. Lovely eye-candy to get folks excited for next year! Can't wait!
  9. I personally find that a shared experience can't be beat, but do take it from me that there's plenty to do at the park to satisfy a solo rider! Hope you have plenty of fun! ^^Loving the colors, and already miss riding this coaster!
  10. Uh, I'll out myself as part of the minority voting for Gatekeeper. Maybe it's because I haven't had enough laps on Raptor (compared to Gatekeeper), or maybe it was because I had not-so-great seats on Raptor, but I think I enjoyed Fenceholder more the last time I was at the park.
  11. That red reeeally sticks out (in a great way!) against the more faded colors of the supports and along the drive. That and the whole element is such a refresher for the backside of the park! I'll have to make a trip by there soon for another panorama!
  12. Whenever someone says "there's no room for a coaster to fit," I'll always want to point them to this. I love what they've done with the layout, and the coaster looks quite fun too!
  13. The sunset also made for some gorgeous photos of the coaster. That first drop looks so surreal in the first photo!
  14. I forget, was the actual Pilgrim's Plunge scrapped or simply removed?
  15. Looking good! Loving the variety of rides this park already has, especially now with this ride! I'm also loving the color scheme!
  16. Some more of southern Indiana's best bird against an overcast sky.
  17. Currently 16 flat rides, 7 coasters, 2 transport rides, and one log flume.
  18. An excellent trance tune I stumbled upon recently.
  19. ^Diamondback's airtime is just pure fun, and how long it sustains it over each hill always gets me. It's been a while since I last rode a coaster with four-across seating (Goliath, SFOG), but I do recall similar amounts of sustained airtime and hope Mako is full of them as well. That's all I could care for in a B&M hyper!
  20. Passed 2,000 posts about 3 posts ago... Soooo, happy 2,003rd post to me!
  21. They mentioned the financial aspect of it is still being worked on. Everyone's parks should be up for bankruptcy by now! Built a new Eurofighter while $93,000+ under!
  22. ...barcodes? Well, there's that, but I was wondering about the aesthetics of the card and whether there would be a different color pass with different graphics or images on it.
  23. Well, maybe I'm biased, but the fried chicken at the park IS pretty good. And if there IS a season pass involved, that gets paid-off in two to three visits to the park (only two visits if you bought one before September 30). Speaking of which, I didn't realize it initially, but the season passes bought before September 30 included the free drinks. Every other season pass after that date will have them $1. It's not a huge difference, and not really something someone should complain about (still a far better deal than any other larger-chain park...), I just wonder how they're going to separate the passes when the time comes.
