Coaster used in tv show...
themeparkologist replied to obeygiant's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I saw a blip on an episode of Mythbusters of Boomerang and Medusa in the background. They were picking up jellyfish from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for an experiment to see if vodka cures jellyfish stings faster than commercial-brand stinger remover. -

themeparkologist replied to Hhappy's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great TR, Hanno! Yourtrip reports are very enjoyable, fun and easy to read(shorter). Off topic...Where in Norway is Tusenfryd? Mountains or a hliiy part, maybe? ahh...THE sign of utmost quality. Sexy beast, isn't she. I love how it wraps around the main entrance... -

!8/20. The North Korean Fair and Japanese spelling tripped me up. -
On my computer, you have to right click start and go to explore, then program files, and to the Track Packager were you right click on it and if it's a zip, click extract here. Then open the packager and go to refresh, then open page find desired file and open. Install files, overwrite if needed, and then it's ready to go. If not, for .exe, put in zll.dbb? and go to open, browse packager folder for a file, install, and click ride. It should work. Edit: Disregard the last part, I didn't read your post thoroughly.

Maybe the design of the cars has been modified to reflect the 'dance coaster' theme and will have on board sound that has speakers right next to the average riders' ears. They can only change the design so much without cutting something. In this case, height restriction. Random idea. Don't know if its been said or not.

Barclaycard Rollercoaster Advert
themeparkologist replied to Shockwave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I see two flaws 1. Never, ever, ever, EVAR base something off Manhattan Express!!! 2. Knex track as a model for a simulation--really people. They're fun but not very flexible. The track's manuvers would kill you! -
I recently noticed as well, but could it be possible that the only vulnerable ones have 150 posts or more? (aka I just got over that and it changed) I've also saw a few 'normal' ones tonight. And some...other ones. e.g. Steel Dragon is still crap (not pointing fingers!)

An Upgraded TPR Forum Coming Soon!
themeparkologist replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm very confused. Will the URL change? Will the old site be down for a day or so when the switch is made? I know they're stupid questions but I had to ask them. -

The hidden brakes kept the Gs down and I know it's not great. If all you do is go to this forum and expect perfection, you're in the wrong place. Nothing is perfect and the weird supports are for the most part, prototypical. -

Long time, no update! I got really bored with the project recently and it has pumps and bumps and the support work is...well...crap. I haven't finished it totally but since I'm going to Mexico, I'll give it to you. It might be finished in the future. Patriot.zip The part you were waiting for.
