  1. Wind-blown hair and sporting the Maryland t-shirt -- that's me... and the ECB crew during crazy Lightning Racer ERT (Photo taken by Robb Alvey)
  2. Goodness, can't put a finger on just one. Here's a few: KoRn Audioslave Rage Against the Machine Sevendust ummm... does Daft Punk count?
  3. Man, your lists are so long! Wish I could do that. For me: SFGAdv SFA Dorney Park Hersheypark
  4. Yeah, it was definitetly difficult to come to a final decision. I chose hyper because (1) B&M makes extremely comfortable trains, (2) they run silky smooth, and (3) they are consistently some of the most enjoyable experiences I have at theme parks. Granted, I've only ridden Apollo and Nitro, but they are among my favorite coasters. What was making this decision very difficult to make was one ride: Kumba. Kumba is the only sit-down I've ridden from B&M, but it blows just about every other postive-g-force/inversion oriented coaster out of the water, in my opinion. I would have voted for sit-downs if I could have had 2 choices.
  5. Haha, better than an MCBR. It really did need them though-- it would have been too fast (for my likings).
  6. Dominator seems to be at the top of most people's lists, and I, for one, have to agree. 1. Dominator 2. Bizarro (SFGAdv) 3. Hydra Just a note: I like Hydra, but this past August when I rode it, it had a significant rattle that really prevented it me from thinking higher of it. It's a beautiful ride and has interesting elements, great airtime for a postive g-force oriented ride, but it doesn't navigate the track as well as other B&M's.
  7. ^^ Yeah, fully understand with life (aka college) resuming. I wish I could have spent some more time on it. There's a lot I could have done better. I mean heck, I literally just speed clicked in all the foliage. Some details I left out altogether (i.e., the supports/structure), but I'm glad I was able to get that much done. Thanks for your criticism though. And thanks for your comments, nin and RCT2day!
  8. Steel: Fahrenheit, Superman: Ride of Steel, Intimidator 305 Wood: El Toro (omfg), and back row of Lightning Racer at night with a train full of TPR members!
  9. A big ol' Amen to that. I like the paint job.
  10. Mind Eraser, SFA. Goodness, it's no wonder why I didn't want to ride any more rollercoasters that day.
  11. I don't know if there is a rule against submitting a track after winning the previous round, but either way I wanted to share my efforts with you all even if it can't be counted. I apologize if this seems rushed; I've been busy with marching band and college classes starting back up. I'm fortunate enough not to have any early classes tomorrow, so I was able to put this together tonight. My Entry: Ibex, View/Download HERE Just for good measure: Ibex is the name for several species of Capra, or wild goat. SCR1.BMP
  12. ^ Yeah, it's a glitch or something. On any coaster, the "flat-to-shallow-downward-slope" segment can be a lift hill segment. Good luck to everyone on the next round!
  13. Wow, that's a great design, Louis!. I love the layout and the custom supports. Really, who needs to use CS? Good job.
  14. ^ I swear, most people do everything they can to injure themselves, whether they realize it or not. Those guys in the video should have gotten the "friendly escort" out of the fair.
  15. ^ From what I can recall, Volcano's is stronger. Possessed is still great fun, but it doesn't quite kick you back into the seat like Volcano does. So I would have to agree with some of the others-- FoF and Volcano are the strongest that I've experienced.
  16. ^ Hahaha, well Maryland was certainly scorching this past July-- heat index of 130 F in some parts (*cough cough* where I was working *cough*) As for the possibility of it being similar to Georgia Scorcher, I doubt most of the people who visit SFA (aka the GP from the area) have even heard of it, let alone SFoG. Heck, it doesn't matter to me! I'm just happy that my home park is finally getting a major attraction. I hope that this marketing campagin means that the ride will have a definitive theme/theming, other than just the paint job.
  17. ^ Definitely; they really make the ride visualing appealing and they add to the ride experience at night. Lightning Racer looks spectacular at night because of how the dueling tracks weeve and the lights just follow them the whole way. It's probably one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.
  18. This is just a general comment and speculation on my part, but it seems that many people are voting the designs down instead of up. I see ratings of just about every track getting lower and lower every day (personally, I feel that most of them deserve much higher ratings in their own stand-alone regards). I suppose this is part of the contest and the way voting is set up, but I find it intriguing.
  19. ^ Thanks (if that was intended for me)! And congrats on your last win!
  20. ^ I can't help myself, lol. What I build and put up for download has to meet my own expectations, so putting in scenery is just something I have to do for myself. I don't know, I have more fun making the coaster (and playing the game) when I spend some time on trying to dress it up a little and try to make it realistic. So for this contest, just judge the track! Anyway, my entry is: Little Leaper, Download at TPR Game Exchange SCR3.BMP
  21. Was I disqualified in the last round? If so, what for exactly? I'm not trying to be rude or questioning your authority, QD, I merely want to know so I don't make the same mistake next round. If that is not the case, then guess I'll just have to do better. Thanks.
  22. ^ Yeah, I have not been following CW, so seeing this on TPR's front page was a huge shocker. And yeah, my first thought was "...don't they already have Behemoth? What will this add to the park other than a 306' lift hill?" Well either way, it definitely looks like something to check out, with it being B&M's first giga. We can only hope for a nice, forceful ride, but only time will tell.
  23. Hurler @ KD - Yeah, it's the Hurler, except "hurl" in the sense of "throwing", as in "throw out your back" For a steel coaster, I would say Mind Eraser at SFA, but I have hope for the SLC's in general. Their layouts are potentially very fun... they just need to kink out that headbanging. I can haz new trains, plz?
  24. My entry for this week: Golden Eagle (TPR Game Exchange Link) SCR1.BMP SCR2.BMP
