Hurricane Irma Florida Parks Updates
SharkTums replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^I can always duck under a table with my bike helmet here...I've only been on one roller coaster that let me wear a helmet! (and I chose against it as I didn't want Chinese lice!) -

Have you ever encountered an animal on any ride?

There was some sort of giant bird of prey making a nest on the top of Alpengeist and he would get very angry every time the train would come by and threaten us! -

Mine Train going all #WhatsInTheShed for Halloween. I hope this is cute and decently done. -
Ditto. I'll brave the unhealthy air quality in Shanghai for this ride, any day. It looks amazing. Meh, the air in Shanghai is just like LA. Beijing (and some of the lesser visited industrial cities) is where you can see, smell, and feel the air you're breathing in! I'll never forget our 2012 visit I was so happy KT wasn't there as it felt like I was breathing air through a charcoal brick!

Japanese because the people get really excited when I say something or answer them in Japanese. I also like French, but I can only say hello and count to 9.

^And even repeat visitors can find something new! I learned recently that I love their milkshakes from the soft serve location! -
Here's a random thought. Are RMC woodies now the B&M Inverts of the 90's? We're seeing more and more of the rides built, they all have very similar elements, pacing, and stats, they're all great rides that both enthusiasts and the public love, parks and maintenance seems to like them, etc. Now the question is will they evolve and change? Stay in this niche? Get less intense to go to other parks?

Ok...so here are a few random suggestions: Animal Kingdom - Yak and Yeti! We love this restaurant!!! Super great Asian food of all types, really friendly servers, cool drinks (for both kids and adults), lots of stuff to look at in the restaurant and easy to get into for an early lunch. Make sure to do the actual Table Service restaurant and not the quick serve next door. Magic Kingdom - Be Our Guest!!!! Also, try to get a reservation NOW. This is one of the harder reservations to get. Lunch is quick service and dinner is table service. Great rooms, french style food, amazing desserts! The other 'new hotness' at Magic Kingdom is the Jungle Cruise themed restaurant which is super interesting but the food is quite adventurous so make sure to check the menu first. Hollywood Studios - Sci Fi Dine In - Also a harder reservation, but it's super unique and kids usually freak out when they see what the 'restaurant' is. Art of Animation has (in my opinion) one of the better hotel quick serve restaurants too.

When I rode Tower of Terror with a full elevator of Brazilians. I just wanted to go home after that.
