  1. A few comments... - Glad you had a great time! - I don't know who says Kumba is overrated, but they're dumb. - We've always said that Cheetah Hunt was like a family Maverick and that's awesome! - I still haven't ridden Cobra's Curse, I'm a bad enthusiast. - Why all the hate for MCO? Not just from you, but I see others complain as well. I fly to airports all over the country and world and MCO is one of the best in this country by far.
  2. ^^You'll be find. Heavier people or people with big ankles, it certainly would touch, but knowing your body type it will not touch.
  3. I think we all understand WHY they are removing the ride, doesn't mean we have to like or agree with it. It's a classic, aggressive, crazy ride. Also it has low capacity, low popularity amongst the general public, and probably costs a lot to maintain. I love it and will miss it, but these things happen.
  4. Nice report Andy! I really like Mexico City, great mix of old and new. Now if they could just do something about those earthquakes and volcanoes I would feel more comfortable visiting again.
  5. The trains were certainly more comfortable and felt less like a trashcan rolling down a hill, but they weren't glass smooth or anything.
  6. Oh, it was not sincere at all! The crepe she had downstairs after ONE ride was much more sincere and to her liking.
  7. I put my child on the ride and didn't feel like a terrible mother afterward so it has definitely improved!
  8. Wow, this might be officially the dumbest VR installation yet!
  9. I agree with Mike, I don't think it's possible to make it from Detroit to Erie in four hours unless you're Elon Musk and on a rocket of some sort.
  10. This is going to go down as one of the worst 'cruise ship accidents' ever. Looks like everyone from children to elderly were killed, and some of the injured are severe. Truly a terrible event. Over on one of the cruise message boards I'm on someone lost a brother in this accident. I just hope this doesn't scare people away from cruising, like we all already knew, the cruise ship is super safe compared to driving! *Not that I would let this deter me from driving in a less developed country to see amazing sights, it's just a small risk you have to take.
  11. You'll note we did NOT put up a video and will not. Also, I think that once they close Stitch Encounter they should put the Trump animatronic in there and have him escape and whisper crude things in your ear, try to grope the women, and burp Diet Coke breath in your face. Now that's an attraction!
  12. Whoa...wait a minute... AQUATRAX!!!!!
  13. Anyone who doesn't understand this or why it affects them should google 'John Oliver Net Neutrality' and educate yourself. It's really horrible that it's being repealed and can lead to scary unintended consequences.
  14. ^You don't need us with you! We love to help people learn how to do it for themselves. And I don't even care if someone doesn't follow our advice, it doesn't affect me, I just don't understand how someone can go to ANY park and have two rides in six hours and be happy. Plus, Fuji Q...ugh!
  15. ^Oh god that's terrifying! I wonder when Disney will take a look at that whole project!
  16. I honestly don't know how you wrote such a glowing review of a park where you rode two rides, stood in line for six hours for them, stood in line for food, and was at the park for like 9 hours! Like others have said, the reason we never use the train to get to this park is because it won't get you there in time for opening. Ugh, this whole report just really makes me second guess going back here this summer. I get that a lot of these policies WORK because they are in Japan with amazing Japanese people that follow the rules and are polite, but in a country that prides itself in efficiency this park just sticks out like a sore thumb.
  17. If I had a dime for every time I heard that in the Magic Mountain thread...
  18. Hey now, be nice to McDonalds! Plus like you said, they're investing in those ordering screens around the world which means you now get your food correct and without talking to a human! Yay!
  19. Do Italians like Peppa Pig!!? It always seemed very British to me and it's barely a thing here.
  20. I just tweeted about this trailer. So what did everyone else think? To me, the movie is setting up to be super depressing if you're going to kill off like 90% of the dinosaurs that were living on the island!!!! And then they committed my cardinal sin of bad science...a human outrunning a pyroclastic flow on foot!!?!?!? GRRRR!!!!! Oh the other hand...Jeff Goldblum.
  21. I don't think it felt 'dark'. Sure it wasn't bright and crazy, but nothing like depressing or off-putting. It was really nice visiting a park in the middle of the desert and not worry about sun screen, the heat, wind, etc.
  22. I know, I told some of the management that they really should focus and market how amazing their food is! They did start offering certain packages where you could come in just for like dinner and two hours of rides and stuff. If anyone heads to the park...go hungry and plan to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there!
  23. Here was another one on Facebook taken from pretty close to where we used to live!
  24. This was one of our best days at a theme park ever! The park just really seems to care about quality which is such an important part of your experience. The food was just ridiculous. Anything and everything we ate was amazing. I'm not lying or going all hyperbole when I say that this park deserves to be in the top 3-5 Theme Park food experiences in the world (Disney, Europa, Knoebels...IMG!!!!!)
