No, I don't believe we'll be at SFGAm or the Dells this year.

If you stay within walking distance don't worry about parking! Don't get the pass just for parking, since you already have a season pass. Robb - robbalvey@aol.com Elissa - emeridithw2@aol.com

Yeah, Thursday night should work. Cheapest walking distance would most likely be the Best Western Valencia, 2nd would be the Holiday Inn Express, closest but most expensive would be the Hilton Garden Inn. We can use Robb and my fastlanes that we get with our Xtreme Pass! Email me to touch base a bit closer!

We'll both be working, but there's a chance we can either get out early, or meet you for a late ride. On your opening day here's your plan: RUN TO X If Deja Vu is open go there next Riddler Batman Goliath Colossus Scream Goldrush Psyclone Viper Kiddies Flashback will be closed, Tatsu will still not be open, meaning Revolution will also still be closed. If lines are horrible consider getting Fastlane. Your SFoT pass will get you right in through the Season Pass (or any line for that matter). From what I've seen at Knotts: Ghostrider Silver Bullet Xcelerator Other Stuff. Ghostriders line just doesn't seem to move as well as the other stuff.

Disneyland Paris Questions
SharkTums replied to CoasterBill04's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
On our last visit we were allowed to take the camera on every attraction. On our first visit to the studios they did not allow us to film on Armaggedon. As for the special tour, yeah supposedly it's offered like once a week in English but we never bothered to check into it. -
The second stratosphere tower?
SharkTums replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^Two things are different here!!! One - If it's really made by Intamin, then I trust it and will have fun on all of the non-spinny rides! Edit, YAY!!! http://www.rocinternationaltowers.com/project.htm Two - This is being designed with the rides in mind. Not adding them 10 years after a tower was constructed that was not meant to have something diving off of it!!! I guess we'll know pretty soon if this will happen or not since it's supposed to be done by 2008! -
My preliminary guess is we'll be there the 18 - 22. Please don't hold me to that!!!!

Quick trip to Seaworld Orlando
SharkTums replied to Thrasher's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^OMG! I forgot about that experience!!! Luskus and I sat in the back, only to have a plugged drain! When we started up the first lift hill all the water poured into the back seat...but it didn't stop at our shoes. The water came all the way up to our seats, to the point I was worried about drowning!!!! It was also Ice Cold being that it was January! We reported it to the ride ops, but they didn't seem to care. Advice, sit in the middle rows on Atlantis! -
Quick trip to Seaworld Orlando

HAHAHA!!! I love getting people to sit in the front row of Atlantis!!! They start laughing when they don't get wet on the bottom of the first drop, and I just smile and wait! -

Such the awesome TR!!! SOOOO many inside jokes, I love it!!!! -
I'm guessing you meant WEEKDAY nights...avoid weekends at all costs! Do not go the first weekend or Halloween Weekend. Pop Century is fine, a bit far away from everything, but not a bad choice if you're going to be doing a lot of Disney Parks. Most hassle free car rental at Orlando Airport...Any that are ONSITE, meaning no shuttle! You just walk out into the parking lot out of the terminal and get your car. Alamo and Budget are both cheap and onsite.

Transatlantic airline food for the picky eater
SharkTums replied to USRoadTripper's topic in Ask Alvey
I bring my own food. I usually eat dinner, then bring some cereal or a muffin for breakfast on the plane. (as well as some snacks!) Food (even snack and drink selections) has gotten progressively worse on ALL airlines! The only airline food I've eaten recently was Korean Air! They had some awesome rice and beef and broccoli stuff!! Kids meals are usually the safest 'special' meal to order, but take matters into your own hands and bring your own food! -

I can only hope for many Cathedral options on the UK trip! -
None of those are Robb... But yes, we were there on that Sunday, and the park was kind of sad!

Disneyworld Trip in January
SharkTums replied to jmicha's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
With Extra Magic Hours, and a typically less busy January I think you could do all 4 parks in 3 days. No one said you have to do EVERY attraction on your first visit. Go have fun and relax and hit the stuff you want to. As for hotels, what is your price range? Sure Coronado is nice and centrally located but that means that it will pretty much take equal time to get to all of the parks. If you know there's a park you'll be spending more time in, maybe choose a resort near that park. Or if you're worried about transportation choose a MK or Epcot resort for easy Monorail and Ticket and Transportation Center options. -
I'm so confused! Can you link me?
