To be fair, I've been going to SFGAd since like 1996 and have had them close early due to low attendance pretty steadily over the years so I don't even think it's a new thing.

^I don't think ANYONE expected this coaster to be better than Steel Vengeance and Lightning Rod! If you're putting it right under those two, that's still a pretty amazing coaster and it's sad to be disappointed by it. Also, yes, sigh...why do we make it so difficult with loose items here!?!?!

^They no longer were allowed to jump from what we heard/saw. They just stood there.

Second bummer for many of us. First was when they stopped the 'boat jumpers', and now fully closing the ride. Getting ready... Up in the air! Stories about them in the ride area. Another angle... Look how high he goes!!!! And of course they would then bow to their boat of guests and guide them back to the shore.

Great addition for a great park!

Except Six Flags does not know the meaning of the word subliminal...especially when it comes to advertising!

Practiced my French a bit and looked on some French coaster sites. They say that Transdemonium is down all season for either a complete redo or leaving!

^^^We took KT at one year old and I just checked back in the trip report and don't see her riding anything big, but I do remember her playing in a lot of nice play areas. We had a stroller with us and she looks happy in all the photos (as do I!) so I'm thinking that's a good sign. ^^That would be very interesting and sad. Truly a very unique ride!

Agreed that they are useless, but do they now at least not hurt? I wasn't planning on even riding Tigris based on my Tempesto ride last summer with those stupid, painful collars, but if there's been a change I'll at least give it a courtesy ride.

Interesting observation. I guess with inflation, not to mention climate change causing more flooding, they'll need some more money! I won't bat an eye at these price increases, but like others have said, I'm sure there will be some moaning from the GP.

^I think it's almost unfair to compare the two parks. Dollywood is a THEME park and Carowinds is an AMUSEMENT park. Glad your visit worked out for you! Enjoy both parks for different reasons!

Great report! Bummer about the food situation, but I guess that's part of the reason to have these shake down events prior to season opening to get all departments ready. I would send a quick, polite email to that other group and let them know they had a member representing them poorly. It's certainly something we would want to know if the situation was reversed.

^Yeah, I was just going to post you totally sit down! Air Conditioned and sitting down! Very nice in Orlando most of the year.

So "Spanish" food has always been one of the types of food I never really liked a ton, but I definitely want to try this place based on the menu and the amazing things that Chef Andres does in his life.
