  1. I think with a coupon or if you had kids with you it's worth it for sure.
  2. I didn't watch any of this season of Walking Dead, I've just been reading the synopsis' online. Did they really basically spend six episodes at some guys farm not doing anything!??! Kind of lame. At least they killed a child off on the fall finale.
  3. ^Even more interesting will be riding this High Five coaster in Wuhan and then a few days later riding Fireball to see how it's held up.
  4. ^I don't know why ABC isn't pumping more advertising money into Suburgatory, it's hilarious! Great talent, funny premise, very good show that could go the way of Modern Family if they'd just give the show some support!
  5. ^You can pretty much count on that!
  6. They were obviously inspired by our IAAPA update! Seriously though, I can't wait to ride this on the China Trip this summer and see what they'll let us try on this element!
  7. ^Did I mention that hotel?!?!? That's our *GO TO* hotel in NYC!! Where we stayed in March, and where we always try to stay! Great location for walking and for the subway! The only 'official' tour we did was the Bus Tour on Sundays. It was amazing. The one we did this summer was a private tour but similar to the Crosstown Tour. You really can't go wrong with Scott, so just choose which one sounds the most interesting to you. Just keep in mind that walking in January could involve snow, ice, and coldness! If you like Indian food at all go to 6th St between 1st and 2nd avenue for a ton of awesome places.
  8. I imagine that the most expensive part of water park construction is the infrastructure and they've already got that done so if they put the money into the theming and paint it should be pretty easy to get it up to par.
  9. ^Yeah, I'd be curious to see the artists plans or whatever for what they're doing.
  10. Make sure to do Scott's Tour! If you're worried about the weather and will be around on a Sunday I believe that's the day he does a bus based tour rather than walking. As a former resident and current tourist I would also recommend the following: - Top of the Rock - Ice Skating at either Rockefeller or Central Park - Make a Muppet at FAO Scwartz - Eat in China Town - Eat in Little Italy (ask Scott for a bakery recommendation after his tour) - If you want to do a trendy Times Square restaurant go for Bond 45, Larry's recommendation and super yummy! - Walk through Central Park - Museum of Natural History Do you have a good hotel, that is also VERY important. And don't be afraid of the Subway and Walking...by far the two best modes of transport in the city.
  11. I have really high expectations from the California Legoland, I hope that they can live up to them. The Legoland California Water Park is seriously beyond perfect for 2 - 8 year olds!!!!!
  12. ^Hey at least they'll most likely put it on Fast Track or whatever they're calling the Queue Skipping program this year.
  13. ^Aww, give them a little more credit than that...this isn't Six Flags!!!
  14. ^Ahh good point, I also want to say Big Thunder Mountain will be down as well so definitely check the rehab schedule if that stuff is important to you.
  15. I've said it before and I'll say it again...as much as it pains me to...this is my most anticipated Wing Rider for next year. Now, that being said, being my most anticipated wing rider is only slightly better than say, my most anticipated visit to the dentist, but I think you see where I'm going with this!
  16. Boy those zip line harnesses are not very figure flattering! I'm glad some of the Wave Runner photos turned out. Hanno, you're just going to have to get a bigger lens for next time if I'm out on the balcony trying to shoot you!
  17. Also avoid marathon weekend!
  18. ^Maybe if you spent some more time down here you'd understand better!
  19. ^I believe it now involves a 'p' and a zero?!?!
  20. So figuring this out from the old Cypress Gardens Water Park... Here is Splash Out: Joker Soaker: I'm assuming this is Twin Chasers (I realize only one is enclosed but we'll see...) The Cypress Gardens Water Park also already had a Wave Pool and Lazy River. So hopefully Legoland puts in a decent amount of money to really retheme these slides/areas and bring them up to Lego quality. EDIT - Looking at the artwork Legoland provided it doesn't match ANYTHING they've announced. It looks like California's park. They show a family raft ride which is not in the press release and two non-enclosed slides as well.
  21. Shouldn't they talk about fixing up and finishing what they've already got half done before adding new stuff? I am so confused over this whole project, it just seems like a bigger scam than Hard Rock Park!
  22. ^^I just grabbed mine today after getting Robb and KT's flights a couple of weeks ago! Anyone flying out, make sure to check this week as there seem to be some deals! ^Tickets will go on sale closer to the event. Details coming soon!
  23. ^It certainly seemed like a really nice resort to stay at! Lots of food and entertainment options, plus more going in for next year. I think I would have enjoyed it more had we not been so jaded from the Japanese and Chinese Ice Houses. Anyone remember our visit to the Ice House at Floraland in China?? Jeff revisits his youth...300+ years ago Here's a video on the Ice Slide in China.
