  1. Holiday World Indiana Beach Silver Dollar City Dollywood
  2. You have to be 18 to attend most of the events that they sponsor, not park sponsored events. Keeps the "immature" level down, although my sister is 8 and she's better behaved than some ACE members I've met.
  3. Blackstone used to hold 50% of SF Inc in the early 90's until Time-Warner bought the other half from them .. we see what good they did
  4. Why does SFMM or SFGadv need more rides, simply they are the Flagship parks like SFOT, plus SF Inc has to keep the park investors happy with SFOT and SFOG since SF Inc does not own those two parks.
  5. To them INTAMIN is .. hence why Tower took 3 years to rehab .. Actually saw the Gyro plans, 350 feet .. same place as Superman .. but with SFOG's issues and SFOT's unhappyness with INTAMIN, we got S&S. I still would of prefered the B&M Hyper instead of Titan, but that would of meant the end of Shockwave
  6. SFOT doesn't like INTAMIN, hence why we got an S&S tower instead of the proposed INTAMIN Gyro.
  7. Makes me want to go even more now .. even though it's a confusing park to navigate from what I've read.
  8. Let's see, Great White was installed in 1997 and all other Batman's with the exception of SFStL and SFNO's turn left after the lift.
  9. Woo .. Runaway Wherehouse at SFOT .. I mean Mountain. Next victim: Space Mountain at DLR .. hopefully
  10. So this may give Holiday World 3 of the top 5 woodies now .. personally I'm glad to see going to steel structure, it should make Jeff's job a bit easier in the off-season
  11. Not alot of anything is good there, the Arkansas Twister is very moody, last year I had some great rides then at the end of the year it was one of the worst coasters ever. Everything else is pretty much blah there. The Wild Mouse, typical Zamperla that killed a lady, Big Bad John Mine Train, just good for laughs as to how they do the anti-rollbacks, Diamond Mine Run, typical Miler Kiddie, and Gauntlet .. SFNO's SLC that they never got, rough and typical Vekoma.
  12. Simply wow .. HW knows how to do things right .. now just need to book airfare into Louisville or Indianapolis for next May.
  13. I've never had an issue with crowds, we went on a Sunday in September last year and it was dead and then on a Saturday this summer to minimal crowds. I can see the place getting busy, but I haven't had any bad luck yet. As DenDen said, not to miss are: Jack Rabbit Phantom's Revenge Thunderbolt Noah's Ark Whip Kangaroo Turtle Potato Patch More not to miss in my book: - Garfield's Nightmare - Exterminator - Swing Around - King Kahuna (minus the water) It's a great time all around, remember to sit in the very back of Jack Rabbit

  15. Again it's Technical Park, not Zamperla. I know Technical Park isn't very big in the US, for good reason too. The Ferris Wheel at Celebration City is a Technical Park wheel, when it was Branson USA, they had HUGE issues with it .. Chance actually fixed most of the problems with the wheel when SDC bought the place.
  16. Looks like a decent ride for Technical Park, not Zamperla .. however, not many people buy from Technical Park.
  17. OCT one in China is supposed to open this year, not 2006. Plus they this isn't alot of them, 1999 and 2000 were alot more ... but then again this could change as details are released.
  18. Very bad color scheme .. wouldn't be bad without that stripe
  19. It's inverted .. the way the track is stored alone is a give away along with the connection plates on the track. They could have the track upside down, but in all the storage I've seen, sit-down and floorless track has alway been stored with the rails facing up and inverted track has always been stored and delivered with rails facing down.
  20. Well SDC/CC pass gets you 50% off at Dollywood, and the Dollywood Super Pass gets you free admission to SDC only and SDC always has free parking, $5 for Season Pass prefered or $10 for close in .. Celebration City is always free parking:
  21. Seems like the Larson's are moody. We had 3 people on the ride and everyone was snapping on IB's .. it was very strange cause two of the people don't even know how to snap the flyers, could of been the wind that day helping as well .. but i got some freaky vibrations out of the structure too and not to mention the extra long ride cycle due to no one being in the park. Carowinds flyers rock .. I had a hell of a time there, getting great snaps out of them every ride. I don't remember them being that good at PKI tho.
  22. It seems Celebration City's flyers are moody. Few times this year we got some amazing snappage for the Larson models, then the last 2 trips, could not get it to snap any at all. Indiana Beach's tho .. man, those things snapped with no effort at all, it kind of freaked me out.
